Thats really impressive for that little thing. Love how portable and self contained everything is.

Terrible video. Actually compare them in real tests not just intentionally setting up a portatank where you know the Honda won't reach to "show" how much better yours is...

As an owner of one of these, there is absolutely NO WAY that it started on the second pull. CGI and sound effects. On the 50th pull MAYBE if the sun is hitting it right, but you need to destroy your arm first, then the pump will start. On the plus side, once they start, they do run forever.

Can you do a side by side with the mini striker. Since both pumps are highlighted for their backpacking and being light weight

Great test... In a Ranch environment I wont need 600 ft of hose...We have mainly grass fires..So I cant justify the extra 900 bucks.. But I must admit the water ax is baddass...

I think the pump itself has to look like a turbo charger like the waterax or a bell shape like the Davey or Darley pumps of Austrailia to give you that kind of presure.Say at least 100 PSI. Less elevation might make things more even, But IDK.

Looks great! Single wheel game carts work pretty good for transporting them too. I think I could fit two pumps, fuel, maintenance kit, and over two thousand feet of hose on the game cart.

I am not a firefighter, not sure why this is on my feed, though it looks cool! Not sure why you included footage of you loading this thing in to a Pelican case, that makes it look fragile, not an ideal trait for firefighting equipment. I reckon real firefighters would prefer to see you throw it into the back of a ute from 10 feet away.

this video shows the process with which the pump was designed and the first prototype units were indeed ''precious'' to us since the cost of making prototypes is usually wayyy higher than the actual production units that are currently in the field

hmm yeah clear some of the branches around that house. i know you want tress near you house but it is not a good idea to have them close, should have no trees closer then 30 feet to house. remove branches at least 6 feet from the ground.

The larger the cleared area between a structure and forests, brush and tall grasses, the better. Do not plant highly combustible shrubbery or use wood-based mulch close to the house. If you must have mulch, use gravel or crushed stone. Do not use combustible roofing; at a minimum use synthetic roofing materials with a Class A rating. Better yet use metal or fiber cement, slate, or clay tile roofing. Do have combustible siding on your house, including vinyl siding which will melt and expose the substrate and framing to fire. Masonry, stucco, fiber cement board or metal siding are good alternatives. Have no combustible trim on the home's exterior. Use noncombustible window sash with thermal pane glazing. Avoid combustible decks, fences, trellises, etc. Be sure all attic vents are screened with fine-mesh metal screening to prevent burning embers from entering the attic. Ensure soffit material is noncombustible - do not use vinyl soffits which readily melt and admit burning embers into wood frame attics. If building a new home, consider specifying metal framing instead of combustible framing. Consult the U.S. Forest Service or National Fire Protection Association web sites for more detailed information.
