Haha while kittie sat at the door I was like "servant, get your lazy bum up and open the door for your meowjesty!" but he/she's smart enough to do that alone ❤ Also I too felt Endwalker was a bit too much. I don't understand why it's always - save a person, then a village, town, country, the world (and other worlds in this case) and last but not least the whole damn universe. Just...why? Why isn't savior of the world's be enough? I still enjoyed EW a lot but my mind wasn't into it as much as in ShB. So only thinking about simple adventuring already makes me happy. I can't wait to get into it tomorrow ❤❤ until then Clive and Joshua keeps me company but my mind can't wait for Tural! But until then I need to answer one very important question - which of my 2 main characters will start the journey first? My precious potato or my kitty boi? 😢 it's a shame I can't play both together 😣

Yoshi-P mentioned that FFIX will have a lot of references in Dawntrail, so that naturally excites me since IX is my favorite game in the series. When Solution Nine was announced at the Fan Festival, it's like a neuron was activated. But it also begs the question of what sort of "twist" will there be that's a bigger surprise than this? It makes me excited and also nervous. While I'm admittedly not as much into the sidequests as I should be, I'm also interested in the worldbuilding aspect and it'll be neat to see how they took inspiration from world cultures to create the western continent. I like how it was done with Thavnair in Endwalker in particular with the prominent South Asian vibe, so I have high hopes for how they will implement the culture elements in Tural.

Agreed on all counts. My biggest concern is the simple fact I cannot remotely pronounce any of these names in the expansion and I will not remotely care about the main characters because of it. Also making one of the main characters a female roth just wierds me out as she gives me serious furry vibes. I think they need to expand on the other shards outside of the 1st and the 13st and do it quick. We are also missing an entire bottom half of the world with Mericydia just being there and noone seeming to care.

We won't get the full trailer until JP Fanfest in January. The first and second trailers are always glimpses. At JP fanfest, we get the full trailer, the 2nd job (a caster), and the full main song of the expansion. I can't wait.

FFXI ALLIANCE! LETS GOOOO!!!!!! Also I feel ya on Erenville. Kinda seems like a waste to carry him on in the story as he didn't play too big of a role in EW. Yes he travelled around to spread the word, and was a delivery boy for us....but didn't strike me as so important to carry him onward. If anyone I would of liked to see more of is Gosetsu, or someone like him. Or ya'know....Krile? They said the same thing for pre-EW that Krile was gonna have this Major Role. But all she did MSQ wise was talk for us & Venat at points and get us into Old Sharlayan....Too much fanservice there I agree(which isn't a bad thing, if done well). Praying DT brings in those XI vibes(maybe not a 1:1, but something more akin to it) outside of just the Alliance Raid. I wanna feel like I'm playing a MMO again in XIV, and not some...washed-up fanservicey anime? To clarify I don't mind one bit on one hand, but another...it's being overdone imo Edit: I have a feeling Shantotto will be making return for the Alliance Raid(possibly as a friend/ally?), and really hope they capture the whole vibe of Vana'diel. Not only from the game's story, but also the players perspective. Edit2: Sorry to return to the video like this LOL but now that I think on it some more. They should of made the FFXI collab related to the Relic in DT, would of made more sense for grinding purposes, and made Hildabrand the Alliance Raid series. BUT all is said and done now :/ I'll TRY not to lose sleep over it, just happy XI is getting more love and acknowledgment from the XIV side!

Surprise apartment tour! I'm honestly keen for the Island Episode expansion. We need to de-escalate all the "entire world is at stake" and get back to simpler adventures. The Viper job could be fun, but to be honest I was kinda hoping for a sword-and-gun combo, which would have been more unique. I'll still give it a try, for sure. I wasn't sold on the Fall Guys collab when it was first announced, but I have to admit it does look like it'll be good fun. As for Meracydia, they'll be getting to it for sure. I'm hoping it gets its own expansion, and isn't just some side zone like Bozja.

14:39 Last time they split up an expansion into 2 areas like with Stormblood people complained each place wasn't fleshed out enough. So I understand why this one will focus on the new World completely. Emet Selch mentioned the new world and the golden city too. Mericydia will probably be next and have it's own large expansion. Since they already had the dragon themed expansion with Heavensward and their biggest compedator WOW having just done a Dragon themed expansion, I think they just want to space them out a bit.

I agree that Dawn Trail doesn't have the same hype/adrenaline while watching, but I give it to it ShB and EW had so much story and so much hinging on it going into it. Still so excited for the new expansion, but especially for the collabs LOL.

A nice way of making gil solo is gathering Timeworn Leather maps. I teleport to the southern aetherite in South Shroud, fly east a bit, and check the lvl40 bushes along the edge of the map. The process of getting the map, getting to the chest, and killing the enemies takes just a few minutes. Every so often, the chest will drop a lotus leaf which sells for hundreds of thousands of gil. Seriously, the cheapest showing on Universalis are over half a million right now, and they do sell eventually. 👀

I’m a sprout, I joined a FC where they do maps all of the time and I was so clueless as to what they were. Well last night I did my first treasure map with my FC since I beat SHB, I was confused as what to do but they helped me. I came to watch this video and now I have an even more better grasp on what they are and how to get them. Thank you!!!
