I can't believe how awful the nations Christmas display was. After that tree was cut down from north Carolina they didn't even have the sense to make it beautiful. The rest of your trip was awesome.

One thing about you that I very much respect is your humility and willingness to give credit where credit is due. A tradition looked forward to every year has turned into a beautiful tree. You managed to use some of what you had mixed with new. No wonder it's your husband's favorite.

Awww thank you! I think it’s important to give credit where due (if we can remember lol…lots of inspiration around us all the time!). I think the tree would have looked a bit bare since I didn’t have ornaments in the new ribbon colors so it was such a well received idea! A good reminder to try and use what I already have! Such a sweet and fun kitchen! I adore the tree and the wire cloche over the house took it to a whole new level. My counters never follow the rules. In fact, the tops of my cabinets are fully decorated year round, too. Ah well, what else are us maximalists to do?

Haha I love it!! You’ll always find support for all your decor from your maximalists friends!! 😂 Funniest thing about the island decor is my husband actually referred to that area using the word “cloche”…we both laughed because he never knew what a cloche was until I started my channel! lol 😆

Such a busy time of year! I'm now trying to play catch up with all the videos I've missed. Better late than never. I love that you chose to put the rocking horse on the mantel. Oh yes this lady here knows all about the 80s hairspray lol the higher the better!

Haha yes, the higher and the stickier the better!! Who would ever think cotton candy hair was a good idea!?! 😂 The horse was on the mantel shelf last year but I do also like him in front of the fireplace opening, too. Fun to mix things up!
