Hi Allen, this video came up in my recommendations and I'm so glad it did! I've recently come to the realisation that I'm trans (abeit in the opposite direction) around the same age you did and I relate so much to what you are saying here about slowly peeling pack layers and connecting with your intuition. I have also binged a lot of your videos over the last couple of days and it is just so wonderful to see your journey from questioning butch 'woman' all the way through to 10+ years on T and seeing you come more and more into yourself as a trans man. In a way it has given me more confidence in my own transition so thank you so much for uploading your journey here! I think your channel is a fantastic example of just how amazing the human experience can be. Thank you again, and wishing you all the best for whatever your future holds! Abbi.

You got me with the addiction studies. As a trans person in recovery, the lack of inclusion and/or discrimination in substance abuse treatment is ridiculous.

Thanks Allen for increasing awareness of this valuable study. It is good to know that it has been generating valuable results. I've heard about it, for a few years, but didn't realize that it began with medical researchers in my region. I'm sharing your video with some of my friends.

awww thank you for checking in... i am following your journey for at least 8 to 10 years now... I was searching for someone my age or older when I was considering transitioning. In the meantime I had changed my mind or rather put transition on hold for many reasons, but it is so great to see that you are doing good and living your life! I wish you all the best and can't wait for a longer update :)

Hello Allen :) At first I wondered why youtube suggested me a video of a random guy saying hello, but i clicked it anyway. Then i remembered i must have subscribed a loooooooong time ago. I'm a cis guy who was at the time trying to learn more about trans identities and had come across your channel. It's great to see that you're doing well after all these years and I wish you the absolute best. Your channel is super underrated imo, 14 years of a journey is one of the most invaluable things to have up on the internet, both for trans people and for people like me who just want to educate ourselves. Thank you for doing what you do and being who you are <3 - a fan from India

Lol straight women work really hard to be beautiful for men as men generally are attracted to women by how they look so why should they pay for the date too 😂

It's incredible how our gender identity is inmune to what we think or what the society teach us. And how we can't change it even if we want.

This is the best video that you have. And I think that a lot of trans people, specially the ones that have recently discover this truth of themshelves, should watch the video. A lot of times it's not about knowing if you are trans or not, because at deep you already know. It's about if you can accept this part of you and live at peace with it.

As a cis bi guy, I love FTMs because y'all have seen both sides and really get it. Straight cis women are beautiful and amazing and UGH. One thing I've found very recently is the CG/L community. If I'm dealing with someone who purports to be an adult, but acts like a spoiled 3rd-grader, it's quite off-putting. But when they LITERALLY act like a 3rd-grader, I don't mind doing all the initiating and and paying and stuff. I have a date tonight with an FTM little and I'm very excited.

Your experiences with housing were interesting to me. Here (in East-Central Europe), the housing market very disproportionately favors women, especially young women. It's mostly because they are believed to be cleanlier and tend to take care of the place better... I don't know.

Thank you This is similar to my experience. I never felt I had the opportunity to explore myself and certainly never my gender. Even now I have barriers to entry as I sometimes feel I'm judged for not understanding sooner and I'm even asked why I "allow myself to be seen as a man (read oppressor)?" Idk, probably because hrt would have had greater effect back in my teens when I was still being thrown out of feminist rallies for "being a man". I'm glad you found your authentic self. I'm working on finding mine
