I think Koreans forgotten that they had used chinese chracters for writing since the 6th century. And Korean was a subject of China. Even now they are a minority in China.

I don't know what MSG is. Don't really care. I believe everything in moderation. You can even kill yourself drinking too much water or consuming too much salt, or fruit, or vegetable, it doesn't matter. Eat too much of something and you're in trouble. all I know is my dad got addicted to the Arby's fresh market sandwiches that used MSG and he was eating like 2-3 sandwiches every single day. He ended up having some food allergy attack. We don't know what specifically set him off. But ever since, my mom has blamed MSG. Like sugar, anything that makes you that addicted to something should be carefully monitored and used. There shouldn't be fear mongering, but people shouldn't remain ignorant either.

so miso actually are perfect for family who has a member that don't want it. coz you can always add the miso on your own serving and not theirs doenjang can't do that coz you need to cook it with the whole soup as the longer it is cook the tastier it taste. in short for me miso wins. coz miso can be put at anything you cook with soup and later on add on in your own serving only skipping other family members serving.

This is perfect! I've never has miso but I've has stuff with soy bean paste in it because my old boss is Korean. I work at an Asian market now and miso is one major blind spot when it comes to helping customers. This really helped me pad out my random jack of all trades knowledge of Asian cooking! Various Asian bosses and youtube cooking shows means I finally have a use for all the random stuff I know for helping customers haha. I knew the ways to use miso but never the flavour and why it was used for those things. I can't wait to try it myself now.

@@iliili8178 Based on historical facts rather than position North Korea has been a subsidiary country of China since ancient times. And their culture is deeply influenced by Chinese culture. They never gave birth to their own culture, almost all cultures were imported from China.Since ancient times, their land has been barren, all kinds of resources are in short supply, and people have hardly any cultural development under the condition of very difficult survival. There have been many cultural disputes between China and South Korea in recent years. As far as I know, most of these disputes are provoked by the Koreans. For example, when Li Ziqi made Sichuan paocai in her video, Koreans started attacking Li Ziqi in the comment section under her video and claimed that what she made was Korean kimchi. Another example is the dispute between hanfu and Hanbok. The dispute started when a Chinese artist posted her Ming Dynasty Hanfu on a well-known painting website, and a Korean asked the artist to label it "Hanbok". Then the artist took out her source of inspiration (historical relics unearthed in China), and there were also many Chinese people in the comment area enthusiastically popularizing science, but the Korean turned a blind eye, and then slandered the Chinese for plagiarizing their Hanbok. In addtion, I can tell you something ridiculous and shameful about Koreans. 60 years ago, Korean scholars claimed that China was not the origin of Chinese, but South Korea, and claimed that ancient Korean was the origin of all languages. In 1997, Lee Man-sik, senior director of the Korea Antique Art Association, came to China secretly from Korea. He found Jin Quanhong, Cui Zhen, and other locals in Ji'an (a Chinese city), and gave them money to steal the murals from the ancient tombs of Goguryeo. After the incident, the police immediately set up a task force to arrest more than ten criminals including Cui Zhen and Jin Quanhong. It is a pity that all the stolen murals have been sold, and the damaged murals are difficult to restore. The court sentenced Cui Zhen to death in accordance with the law, with a two-year suspension of execution, and the rest were also sentenced to death and other sentences. The case is broken, but the cultural relics have been lost overseas. After interrogation, more than a dozen people confessed that they sold the mural to Lee Man-sik, a Korean. Following this clue, Chinese experts have been working hard to find these precious murals in Korea. The hard work paid off, and experts came across these murals by chance in a museum in South Korea. After verification by our country, it is confirmed that the murals displayed in the Korean Museum are the murals that flowed from the Goguryeo tomb in Ji'an City. The State Administration of Cultural Heritage of China demanded that South Korea conduct a thorough investigation and return the murals to China. The Korean side knew that it was wrong, so they announced that they would set up an investigation team to thoroughly investigate the matter, but after waiting for many years, there was no result. As for the return of the murals, they did not mention it.This is the source of the Korean almighty mural. Besides, I can tell you one more thing, I studied at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and many Koreans come to study in our university. I once did a small survey at our university, and the respondents were all Korean students. I asked them, "Do you think what you studied in school was Chinese medicine or Korean medicine?" The result is that most Korean students think they study Korean medicine. Through this incident, I understand the thinking of most Koreans. Their thinking is "As long as it's good, it's belong to country" 另外,我还可以告诉你一件事,我在北京中医药大学学习,有很多韩国人来我们大学学习。 In fact, if you learn it carefully, you will find that the Korean "traditional culture" was exploded and spread in a short period of time, while the Chinese traditional culture can find a long history and have a wide spread. Of course, Koreans did not just steal Chinese culture, they also stole Japanese culture. After being stolen by Koreans, Japan implemented the "Five Nos", namely "don't teach them; don't help them; don't let them come; don't Stolen; don't agree", a blanket veto of Koreans approaching Japanese culture. When they couldn't steal Japanese culture, Koreans took a fancy to the excellent Chinese culture and came to China to study every year under the banner of cultural exchange. It is a pity that this kind of behavior has been tacitly approved by the Korean government, and because China is socialist, it believes that culture should be shared, and there is no official organization to resist this kind of behavior by the Koreans. We have conducted research on this behavior of Koreans and believe that the main reasons are as follows: 1. Unofficial history is prevalent in Korea and has received official support, while official history is suppressed. A lot of history in Korean textbooks is made up. 1. 2. South Korea's economic development has entered a slow stage, requiring external conflicts to divert economic attention. 3. South Korea has a strong cultural export, while China has an excellent traditional culture. Through the strong cultural export, the excellent culture is exported to create huge wealth and consumption. 4. Korea's spiritual wealth is difficult to match their material wealth, so they need culture to strengthen themselves and enhance their cultural self-confidence. Thank you for reading.

This was great! I always keep doenjang, bc I’ve found recipes on how to tweak/substitute it in Japanese recipes instead of miso. Also my favorite Korean restaurant was kind enough to send me a link to the recipe they use to make their gluten free, gochujang which mixes doenjang and gochugaru. They, of course, put their own spin on it, but I can only tell a slight diff in the taste of their traditional gochujang vs their GF gochujang when I’ve done a blind test.

That glass container only used in Sichuan province of China, not even popular in other major part of China, that glass jar is known to make authentic Sichuan pickled veggies(paocai), barely used to make Kimchi, the water around the top of jar is used to seal the jar while allow the fermented air popping out. when it comes to the "Chinese food",I have to say sorry to Koreans, although we also made and ate fermented spicy cabbage growing up, the processing ways in the video did very much look like the way of making Korean Kimchi, I believe Liziqi had no intention to "steal" Korean tradition, and later she did amend the description, said this was Korean ethical style of spicy cabbage. We do have a large population of korean minority born and gowing up in China ,so in Chinese people's mind if a person is Chinese Korean, we first identify he/she as a Chinese, then the minority of Korean, since China's population is huge and people are all from different origins, so we are used to first identify us a Chinese, then the minority ,so this mindset is quite unique and different from Korean and that's the reason why it would offense so many Koreans.
