My 2013 2d verso is currently in the garage waiting for 4 injectors 😩 only had the car 3 months, garage that I bought it off said passed its 30 day guarantee, contact the warranty company, that it’s covered for 6 months, said their gold cover up to £1000 doesn’t cover injectors only the platinum cover does that 😩

Hi sandy how did you manage to remove the top bolt for the turbo, I don’t want to round it but it’s taking a lot of force to remove it

what should be the vacuum reading from the pipe to the solenoid? i have the same error but i can feel some vacuum on the pipe leading to the solenoid

Sandy - if the turbo is NOT siezed and IS spinning - have a look at the INLET MANIFOLD - they run a EGR cooler inside them and they block up really easy - judging from the lack of maintance & fault it might be that !!

Great video! I had a fault with a micro switch last summer. After some diagnostics, I found there was a broken wire in the harness. Brought it to the dealer thinking they can fix it quicker than I can. They told me I needed an entire new harness, roof module and pump. The cost was getting to over $7K. Thanks for video, made the replacing of the pedal that bit easier although I did have to remove the trim in the end as the right hand bolt was covered by a plastic tray like structure so needed to push it to one side with one hand whilst trying to get at the bolt with the other. Anyways seemed to cure the dreaded P2138 error. Trim was easy enough to get off but a real pig to get back in place.

This is not an uncommon problem and is endemic in a lot of ‘consumer’ electronics. Oftentimes this is due to the fact that there is no mechanical arrangement for fixing the USB socket in position and it is entirely reliant on the soldered connections to maintain in its position. Bad (and cheap) engineering as the repetitive inserting and withdrawal of the charging lead fatigues the soldered connections and compromises them from an electrical perspective (high resistance joints).

I've got a similar thing going on but it only happens in the morning....on my 45 minute commute to work, i can reset the code for mass airflow too high 5 times and it keeps going into limp mode. Finish work at 5pm, can drive as far as i like and it will not show a problem 🤯 Assuming its an atmospheric problem, really dont want to try a MAF sensor at 100 quid. I'm gona study the values some more having seen you go through it, much appreciated

I had to comment on this one after reading the comments. I just fixed my MT2400 vantage that was getting a skewed reading only on channel one. It ended up being old corrosion on the negative terminal inside the battery tray. I eventually found that when I shook the device and jostled the batteries, the voltage would rise on channel one! Crazy… just sanded the battery terminal connections and my trusty vantage is back in service!

Thanks for this video it has helped me heaps, My Amarok has this exact fault, pulled the connector out and found it was getting 9-10v on pin 13 so pulled back elbow off and the pin had coroded away. Im just looking for a replacement pin now. Will any standard pin fit in from auto electrical store?

I have a problem with rounalt cleo 2013 it say engine filler hazard

I have a P2413 egr valve circuit clogged, changed the egr valve which actually looked very clean, engine only done 40k. Anyway changed it redone egr learn and after 30mins of road test throw the engine light on. Same fault code.. any ideas please.. Removing it was an absolute head ache, I had to seperate old unit in 2 parts and use a small slide hammer to easy it out..
