You only included a few notes from WTF and Self-titled, you're clearly biased towards COE and Nightmare. Both of those albums had some impressive notes that should've been included in this video.

One of the more overlooked metal guitarists. Unfortunately there were just so many great players from that era that he gets lost in the shuffle pretty much.

There was a time when Johnny had a bout with throat cancer, and his voice was noticeably affected. Ian told me about this a couple of years ago, and I feel somewhat responsible for this since back in the day, I was a smoker and did so around him. He was diagnosed with throat problems during the recording of the demos and it pushed our release date back, which inevitably lead to the falling apart of the band and sparked his and Lonnie's vast and professional careers. I guess you could say the story had a fairytale ending for them after all. Now, circling back to Johnny having cancer, it would have been a tremendous loss to music if he had been forced to stop singing as he has a wonderful gift (many have compared him to sounding like Glen Hughes). Thanks to God for his recovery, and those who care are still praying for him and the others. I have learned that blowing out someone else's candle won't make mine shine brighter...

You are a liar because if he really had had throat cancer he wouldn't even have continued singing and he wouldn't even have continued doing so many collaborations, he would have had a more worn out and tired voice, however it is the opposite, his voice evolved into a more voice. aggressive, sharp and at the same time clean, simply before she sang with a notable falsetto but still with an impressive voice one could say something similar to Steve Perry in terms of her vocal timbre

he hits an A5 in falsetto in Beast and the Harlot's layers when he says "Fallen now is Babylon the Great". It sounds like someone hit you real hard in the balls with a baseball bat. It's still awesome though.

I'm a big TNT fan, but its really good to hear him use some lower register. I mean the high stuff is cool and impressive, and for some reason always used as a measure of a singers talent, but after a point it gets old. I like to hear a guy sound like a guy. Say Ronnie James Dio for instance. He's got the power of bull balls. I guess the high stuff is like getting kicked in the bull balls. Nonetheless, Harnell is definitely a favorite and massively talented.

I hear either F1 or A1, it’s honestly a bit hard to tell for me. Although I don’t know if it counts either way given the quality of the note.

Couple of notes: Zacky sings the low harmony (D2) on A Little Piece of Heaven, not Shadows. Sustained belt on Nightmare is A4, not Bb4. The video is missing G#5/Ab5 from live Beast and the Harlot performances as well a Second Heartbeat performance. His highest note is a falsetto A5 from Beast and the Harlot (some people believe it’s the Rev or Syn but it’s confirmed to be Shadows).

@@ringo.9396 everyone did, myself included. In the episode of Breakdown they did on the song, they isolate the low harmony track and it’s Zacky singing it. He makes fun of his ‘wiener voice’ singing such a low harmony.

@Alchemist Eric were you talking about the verses or the spoken section of Requiem? I know the voiceover wasn’t Shadows but a hired vocal sessionist. Back when TheRangePlace was a thing, we pitched the low harmony during the verses as G#2 but that was a long time ago. We actually also had the isolated backing vocals of Beast and the Harlot and the A5 did actually sound legit (and pretty strained) to me.

Ronni is one of a kind. His solos always seem so rhythmic in his phrasing, even when he's all out shredding, there's phrasing and musicality in it. As far as I'm concerned he's top 10 ever, if not top 5 or higher.

You didn't include the crazy solo guitar from the song tell no tales, in 2014 I saw TNT live at Sweden rock festival and at the end of the show tony harnell asked the crowd what they wanna hear...so I shouted as strong as I could TELL NO TALES, I was very close to the stage so he heard me, he answered to me in these words "no, it's too complicated", ronni le tekro can't replay that solo again, I don't think that any guitar player can play that solo exactly the same as it was on the original version, so to my opinion this is the best solo played ever by ronni le tekro

Wait, hold on a second...Why isn't his very BEST solo in the "Top 10 Solos" list? I will go back and see if I missed it but I'm pretty sure I was tracking. Nope...not there. What about the Title track to the album "Tell No Tales"? For more than 30 years when I have thought about TNT, my mind has always taken me straight to "Tell No Tales"! I believe you're gonna have to make it the Top 11 tracks and edit your video. I'm not knocking what you've done. I'm grateful to see someone cares enough about obscure, monster guitarists to have put this list together. Thank you! Takes me back to the day I bought "Bob Seger's Greatest Hits" on CD. I didn't read the track list, I just threw it in a CD player. It was really great...until the last song played. They didn't include "Fire Lake"!?! HUH??? Again (seriously) thank you for putting this together but DANG. Gotta have some "Tell No Tales" solo. One of the fastest shredding moments in all of guitar playing. Here's a shortcut... kzbin.info/www/bejne/npS9Z6yCrc94brM
