Don't forget his VERY impressive singing in the Sonic games, particularly the SA1 version of "It Doesn't Matter" at the end of the guitar solo.

Tony is one of the best (he was trained by Don Lawrence). He is in the same category as cats like Midnight, Halford, Tate, Dickinson, DIO, Ted Pilot, Kiske, and Scheepers.

really? and what about sebastian bach of skidrow and the vocalist of steelheart who sang "she's gone"............... what about them??????????????
@The1WhoKnowsTheTruth8 жыл бұрын
Yeah okay, I will give you Bach in his prime but not now, he is shot. As far as Miljenko Matijevic goes, yes he killed on that 1st Steelheart album but I don't consider him in the same league as the monsters I mention up top. He would reside with the mere mortal guys like Jeff Scott Soto and Joe Lynn Turner. All better now?????????????????

A lot of people are mad that their favorite songs weren't added to this video. Happens a lot in vocal range videos.

ha ha this is great....like Tim says though, you gotta add "Gonna disappear" from Caught between the Tigers. :) (G#5, I think)

Never heard of this guy before. Almost missed his talent because of the first snippets that seem quite average in all honesty. But then 1:56 woke my ass up and said hold up wait a minute let me put some Rock and Roll in it! Great job. I guess the arrangement and song choices could've been better from the comments.

What about the end of his tribute "Child in Time"?

As a former student I have had the privilege of hearing Antony vocalize to a warm up tape and he covered the gamut from B2 to B flat 5 and back down again in full voice. In lessons with Don Lawrence he has also sung a full voiced C6 : ) But I think it is his middle range from E4 to E5 that is his sweet spot personally.

There's a 6.5 second long E5 "Strong" on Magnus Karlsson's Freefall's song "Stronger". kzbin.info/www/bejne/amTYmYGnlNSGd5Y&t=3m57s

The problem I have with this is in the description, most of those "falsetto notes" like full voice with compression

I'm a big TNT fan, but its really good to hear him use some lower register. I mean the high stuff is cool and impressive, and for some reason always used as a measure of a singers talent, but after a point it gets old. I like to hear a guy sound like a guy. Say Ronnie James Dio for instance. He's got the power of bull balls. I guess the high stuff is like getting kicked in the bull balls. Nonetheless, Harnell is definitely a favorite and massively talented.
