I love watching reactors who genuinely enjoy Ren and appreciate his talent. That’s why I watch reactions, to live vicariously through others who get to experience this for the first time. It’s like getting to watch it for the first time all over again. 😊

I love your appreciation of Ren's genius, and there's no question that he is an incredibly strong human, both physically and mentally. But ... there were actually many days - for years! - when Ren did NOT still get up, did NOT still make his bed in the morning. Because he couldn't. Saying that discipline and consistency will overcome Lyme Disease or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or MCAS or Fibromyalgia is exactly the kind of thing that contributes to the problem. People are told by doctors that there's nothing really wrong with them, that it's all in their head. They often feel shamed into thinking that it's something wrong with their mind, they're lazy, or crazy, etc. But these are neurological diseases - the diseases don't really care about strength of character.

Yet Ren overcame it... Telling people that they can push far past their limits regardless of circumstance isn't part of "the problem". Ren didn't overcome his problems by having people tell him "shame, it's OK to not be ok!" He got over his problems through strength of character and discipline and to ignore that is massively discrediting him. I know the whole compassionate position is cool and all but the reality is that Ren took action despite his strife. His mental recovery didn't fall on his lap out of the sky. Kind words and compassion goes so far.... But they don't get him up.... He gets himself up through fundamental principles: Disciple and perseverance despite the obstacles in front of you. I'm not a fan of accepting that people must just give in to their circumstances, and what I highly respect about Ren is that he didn't. Your position offers no solutions, mine has been tried and tested again and again and again... and works, Ren being your prime example. Not to say that kind words don't have their place, but they most certainly don't get you out of bed.

Hi Fil. Just thought i would let you know that after listening to Lara's songs for many years i finally went to see her in concert in Budapest! It was amazing! Then 3 days later after listening to Dimash for 5 years i saw him live also in Budapest! It was unbelievable. Such an amazing experience! I hope you will be able to go as well one day. So to explain things a bit. The band Citizen Soldier was born in 2016. Obviously Jake himself wasn’t though as the lyrics suggest it was a sort of born again kind of moment. Before that after dealing with issues of depression and struggles with mental health he attempted to take his own life, afterwards in the pysch ward he wrote the lyrics to the song Let it Burn on the back of a napkin which went on to be the first song when he founded Citizen Soldier. As you mentioned from the comment in the video he now works as a licensed therapist and puts his own experiences and knowledge of the struggles people face with mental health into his music. Additionally one of my favorite fun facts about Jake he stays after shows, sometimes for hours so that everyone there who wants to meet or speak with him can do so.

These duo are absolute geniuses, top musicians of all of times in my opinion. I want to refer you back to the kid scene. I don't know if you noticed, but next to the big "Lemonade 75c" sign there's a smaller sign saying "Or 1 Burger bun". It seems like the kid is a reflection of Tyler as a kid. He never wanted money even back when he wasn't famous, He wanted to check if there is someone out there who feels like he feels. and even though he wrote it on the sign, see how to kid looks at the bun and back at tyler as he drives away with a shocked face. He was shocked to see somebody actually trading lemonade for a bun or metaphorically somebody that actually understands him, But that is only himself who can understand. He also knew he has problems, he was curious if in that age you solve your problems already. One more thing, see in the very beginning of the video, tyler already throws 1 bag in the garbage looking pissed off. Shows us these mind troubles never really goes away, who knows how many times he visited this shop.

Fil, on a barmy afternoon on July 13th, 1985, I and 100,00+ good souls were at the Live Aid concert having a really good time and David Bowie was just announcing a film he wanted us all to watch to remind us why we were here. The short clip began to roll and the whole audience stood still. The film showed the most harrowing images of children, starving, struggling to stand, struggling to breathe. Drive by The Cars was playing. Not 3mins earlier the noise of the crowd was so joyous, now the silence was crippling. Many of us cried. All of us knew why we were there. #Qcum berSquad #TheCars - Fil, I'm off back to the study.

Hello, as you seem to appreciate the different interpretations of Lara Fabian, I suggest you listen to 2 exceptional and completely different duets. 1) "Requiem pour un fou" with Johnny Hallyday versio live 2) "Tu es mon autre" with Maurane, his best friend Artist. I already know you're in for a treat.
