I have yet to see, hear or find words that even begin to define this phenomenon called Dan Vasc. There’s so much about him to love, admire and respect. No one compares …. not even close. 71 year old Grandma of 2 here❤️⚘️ Dan Vasc has around 250 covers such as "Nessum Dorma", "The music of the night" many genres . A young Dan singing "Dream On" He also dedicated the "Elvis Trilogy " To his Father who passed 6-7 years ago of cancer. He shares a picture of his Father and him at the end. The harmonica he plays in "Amazing Grace" his father gifed him when he was 7. Dan is a very humble man. He has in his covers documented his growth starting around 2009. He dedicates and shares his suicide prevention in his channel he sings" Don't Give Up, You Are Loved", shares a heart felt comment on a cover Chester did. Usually he will share some comments right after he does a cover . His Metal Version of "America's National Anthem ". Is incredible !!! However you must !! watch his "Apology video" "Right" after !! He's Brazilian and I'll say "Dig In " "Mulan" , "Burn Butcher Burn"😂 "Phantom of the Opera" " My Heart Will Go On" ,"Oh Holy Night " , Groups"Toto", "Iron Maiden " "Sound of Silence" "A Million Dreams " "Journey" "Handel's Hallelujah " , " "Angel's we Have Heard on High"! "Gethsemane" Bocelli 's "It's Time To Say Goodbye" "Evenassence " "Wake Me Up " WOW " My Immortal " "My Mother told Me"and several different versions of "Beauty and the Beast" 'Tarzan" Disney. "Always" "Faithfully" And Sooo many more ! I think he's done like 71 songs from the 80's. Can't imagine a day without Dan! He is simply wonderful, isn't he? He rips our soul from our body, speaks to it and leaves it halfway, without it knowing how to return... His range, his vocal technique, his theatrical expressiveness... Daniel is a perfectionist and complete artist - he could be successful on any stage in the world, but he remains practically isolated in the garage of his house, with his instruments, his gym equipment and his video games. Actually, one reactor (forgot who he was) disliked it because he objected to this depiction of Jesus questioning his fate -- basically, not being this almost supernatural, submissive, obedient being, but dares to be HUMAN. Apparently, it contradicted his personal beliefs, and therefore he found himself unable to appreciate or even judge the performance. Well, to each their own, I guess.

I Need a cigarette after that... cold chills.... watched this numerous times. Always affects the same way. Have seen a number of others perform this... professional stage/singer ... they can not touch Dan's performace. He always draws you in... makes you feel the emotions ... whither you want to or not... he says he is just another singer... by Lord he's Not. I loved your reactions. Love watching people the first time they watch this video. Have seen grown men with tears running down their faces by the end. Thank you so very much. Dan is a consummate singer and performer. He puts everything into his craft. You are not alone at being in awe of his incredible ability. I see that this is only the third video of Dan on your channel. I do hope that you will react to more of his work. My suggestions would be: I'll Make a Man Out of You from the Disney movie Mulan. He becomes the character and it is so much fun, as well as musically outstanding. Also, his most recent one is My Heart Will Go On from the Titanic movie. He takes a sad but beautiful ballad and turns it into a powerful metal anthem. It is something to behold. I really enjoy your reactions and do thank you and hope to see more Dan Vasc on your channel.

Yes, that is the best performant ever! I can’t really call it performant either because Dan became Jesus, with all his feelings and struggle. It’s like Viking reacts say; Dan IS the songs - he becomes the songs. I have one more except for this that is my favorite “The last goodbye” from the Hobbit. That one also gives me the chills every time I listen/see him preform it. Love from Norway❤

Firstly let me say, thank you for your amazing reaction!! Now, Im a major Dan fan and no matter how many times I see this performance, it still tells my brain I'm watching Jesus himself. This is my favorite song from JCS and I've heard this song many times by many different people. I've seen the Broadway production and other live productions and the movie and Dan Vasc does the best, most impressive, spectacular performance of Gethsemane I've ever heard! This was my favorite song BEFORE Dan crushed it. I have heard dozens of performances, and many are excellent, but no one combines the technical expertise with the Passion Play emotion like Dan does. In Luke's Gospel, he tells us that during this "scene" in the garden, Jesus was so overwrought that his sweat became drops of blood, and Dan shows this. Oh, and the name of the garden is "GETH sem ah KNEE."

It’s fun to me that the metal screams were not in the original written version of the song, the first performer (from the JCS concept album) improvised them and now everyone who plays the role or sings the song has to do them 😅. Anyway, I wish this guy was cast in a version of JCS, I’d be interested in seeing him play the role and we obviously know he nails (heh) the hardest song so

This was great, but if you want to see an even better performance of Gethsemane, you need to type in 'John Farnham - Gethsemane (1992 Australian cast - Sydney final night)'. Then prepare to have your mind completely blown. John is a legend here in Australia, and he is known as 'The Voice'. He has a fantastic voice, has an insane vocal range, is always pitch perfect, and is a charismatic performer. His live performances are the best you'll ever see. He is the GOAT!!!!
