You should do a 200 days video. The ATM pack is so huge. Even though you're all decked out and powerful gear-wise there's so much to explore that would be cool to see!

You could also add some amethyst shards on item frames, and ores to the jewelry shop. Just an idea.

Not sure if it matches your vision but a type of “clothesline” between the yurts with banners hanging on it to simulate clothes might look pretty good. Awesome episode, been here for a year! Appreciate the inspiration!

One of the OGs! Not a bad idea to add some clothesline

Love the yurts! I like the idea of “local” dwarves who live above ground…they were there first then, the cave dwarves saw the potential of the riches of the mountains and then settled into the area. I don’t really create lore in my worlds but, you’ve got me thinking about it now. Lol. The Pale Garden I found was about 20,000 blocks to the southeast, also tiny and a mansion across from it. I’ve yet to build a nether portal…looks like it spawns in a basalt delta -the worse, of course. I will eventually create a nether hub. It’s my streaming world so haven’t been as productive as you are. My area is around the village located between the cherry groves right down from your gates. If you want to pop in and see my progress and give some pointers, I stream on Sundays around 4pm CST. My channel is OrganicOma. I don’t usually share that but, I just think it’s neat to see different interpretations of the same world. You are so inspiring and love the lore!

Pretty cool work! I like how well ya integrated the farm into the build, it's a cute nomadic camp 😌 (Wrote that before watching the whole video but I think it's a cool info) To stay maybe in the northern European theme with the dwarves outside the city, maybe look into the Sami people, but like careful with cultural appropriation. I would advise to do quite a bit of research if ya interested coz they didn't have an easy history and it'd be sad to just get a superficial aesthetic inspiration.
@ShouhiКүн бұрын
That's fair! I am aware of the Sami people cause of the reindeer herding surprisingly. Cultural appropriation in regards to the Mongolian culture or Sami people? I am focused a lot on varied architecture and cultural elements so definitely do not mean to offend haha.
@watersnake1462Күн бұрын
@Shouhi all the text under the parenthesis was written before I watch the whole video, coz ya were talking bout the people living outside the city, so I'm only talking bout the Sami people here. And ik hehe and with what I could see when ya made the Mongolian yurts you made some research to make it accurate so I'm not worried bout that. I was talking bout cultural appropriation coz some people just take pieces of cultures mixe them together and never say where they got those elements from as if it was their original creation, but ya clearly stated your inspiration and you try to make it accurate so, you're good hehe

Lore wise. I reckon you could say in the winters the ice doesn’t melt as quick so the dwarves build a factory or basically a huge heater on the top to try and melt the ice, using fuel pumped from down below.

You could build a winery!! You have mentioned a couple times that the dwarves use the Glowberries to make wine so it could be cool!! Like have a tank with honey blocks to look like the wine!!
@Shouhi11 күн бұрын
A winery is definitely in the idea book! Just gotta figure out a way to incorporate it inside of a cave
@Kevin-vc3jf12 күн бұрын
your work is interesting.. but to be honest those are not dwarven they are common medieval styled buildings that are just so happen to be built in a cave or underground. for starter.. houses built underground by the dwarves do not really need inclined roofs because they are not exposed to the elements like that on the surface so if you will look at dwarven houses in some other games they are mostly boxed type or in some other polygon shapes or even flat in some instances. dont get me wrong i like the series, im just sharing some thoughts.. since they are dwarves shouldn't it be more fitting if they utilized more stones for their structures.
@Shouhi11 күн бұрын
That's fair! I do actually talk about the roofs in 2 different episodes. But for aesthetic purposes, I use sloped roofs for most of the builds. In the episode after this, I make a geometric building that extends to the ceiling with no roof. Someone else has mentioned to me that maybe in the front of the city there is more sloped roofs as the dwarves can be influenced by other cultures, but deeper into the city may be the "old town" and have more traditional Dwarven style roofs. Also with it being a dripstone cave, slanted roofs may be applicable. As for the stone situation, using only stone blocks inside the cave makes it hard to distinguish at times. I tend not to always look at blocks as what they are and use blocks more for the color. For example, I use birch logs to texture diorite and calcite.

@Melonlordrinrei14 күн бұрын
I say let the roof of that building remain and get partly soaked in the waterfall, you could incorporate it into the hot spring or a bath house look and just throw more moss at it. I would say if you want to spruce up the outside of the hotspring area to take advantage of spruce logs, peeled spruce logs (forgot the word) and fence. If you want to add an extra touch throw in some other colours like mangrove wood or sakura wood. Having some of those nori curtains banner style could help. Or an easy thing would be some stairs brick style or mangrove wood to give extra shape and colour contrast. Since that stone shop is close to the hot spring, something connected to that would work quite well, I would half say cloth/wool for towels. I also keep getting jumpscared by my own name like 'huh I wonder who that is... OH IT'S ME!'
