6:28: Hi, Rey and Ev. Like I said in my previous comment, I most fortunately do not own this washer, and I even more fortunately did not pay for it. During the washer's first run I did not notice any clanking noises you mentioned, but thanks for the warning anyway, because for all I know that will be coming later to a washer that I can only wish wasn't so near me. But...on second thought, maybe that warning is hope for me that this washer my houseparents just bought will start going on the blink and they will realize the foolish purchasing decision they made. I can only hope they'll replace that washer with a better washer after hopefully being more purchase-wise the next time around instead of trusting some happy-go-lucky sales guy who works for the store from which the washer is being purchased. Well, that's my shit story for today.

6:28: Hi, Rey and Ev. It's Wednesday, June 12 as I write this. Most fortunately for me I did NOT buy this washer myself. But most UNFORTUNATELY I live with people who HAVE bought this overgrown toilet turd. My living situation is different from most people in that I have Asperger's syndrome and I have supports people who removed me from a hostile living situation having to do with a section 8 apartment building and old cranky people who picked on me, so that I now live in a private shared living arrangement with a husband and wife couple who serve as staff members of the house. Just on Monday a washer repairman came to the house to fix the 20-year-old LG frontloader that turned out to have no repair parts available for it after some kind of seal failed on it; probably the door seal from what I understand. So they made the decision, right then and there, to get a new washer. I knew I would have no control over what they ultimately would decide and so I didn't say anything while hoping against hope that somehow they would choose the best front-loader washer on the market. But most unfortunately the deliverymen came in on their truck and dropped off THIS joke that passes for a washer. Its model number is MVW623OHW3. Its serial number is CD2100924. Below the model and serial numbers is the following message: "Registered trademark of Maytag. Used under license in Canada". By the way, to the right of the Maytag logo on the sticker is some more data which reads "TYPE: 589-04". The housewife did a load of her own clothes in it, and I waa watching the washer, and I am very disappointed with how it works. It doesn't even wash clothes. I'm seeing all the issues with that washer that you have mentioned in this video up to this point. I want and vented my frustration to both the husband and wife while they were sitting in their living room watching television, and they told met that this washer was the one they decided to buy because Home Depot had told them that this washer is a very good model. THE FIBBERS! Now I'm gonig to have to do my laundry at either my mother's place or at a local laundromat. I'm depressed today.

I experienced a very similar situation. I got Covid, then strep throat, then pneumonia and sepsis. I started not feeling good on March 9, 2020 just as Covid was really starting to hit the US. I kept telling my dr how sick I was but he just kept advising me to stay home because the ER and urgent care centers were inundated. I knew I had strep bc I tested positive but I hadn’t been tested yet for Covid and I don’t think my dr believed that I had Covid despite days passing with a fever and the worst cough I’ve ever had. I finally drove myself to an urgent care on March 17th. I remember trying to keep myself on the road while driving there and I couldn’t drive straight. As soon as I walked into urgent care they took me back and before I knew it I was in an ambulance going v to the ER where an entire team of doctors were waiting for me and the had to shock my heart back into rhythm, while I was awake, because the sepsis was causing my heart rate to beat over 200 bpm. I was tested and X-rayed and that’s when they found I had Covid, pneumonia and sepsis. Dr said if I had waiting another 6 hrs I would have likely not survived. Since then I now insist on tests if I feel I’m sick enough. We all have to be our own advocates and fight for ourselves because if we don’t it could mean life or death.

i am sorry to hear of your Covid experience. Mine was very different. I am 73 years old. I have asthma and high blood pressure. And hypothyroidism. I was sick with a sore throat , nasal congestion and low grade fever of 100.7 for 3 days. I did not get any antivirals. I treated myself at home with 1300 mg of Vit C, Quercetin , NAC, zinc, turmeric, garlic extract daily. Fluids with electrolytes. I felt better after 5 days. I continued to have a cough and nasal congestion and some fatigue for a couple of weeks. I also take care of my disabled husband with no assistance. The most important thing nowadays is to keep a healthy immune system. Do not think about it when you get sick but always be vigilant to protect your immune system. Learn how to do this. There is information everywhere now. Stop unhealthy lifestyle choices.

Right now... just down on the couch with zero energy. Earlier, I was hopeful, energetic! But it happens every day. Can't taste my coffee with my new creamer. 🥺 Can't enjoy my darn soup. Can't taste nothing. 😰 My lungs were short of breath for 2 days. I began taking in deeper breaths and exhaling with pursed lips. Improved it for a half day. Now I'm back to feeling like somebody stuffed a sack of wet rags in my right lung. I won't go to the ER. What's there? More sick people. Why put yourself in an area with a huge amount of various bacteria on top of what you already have? I figure it's too darn tiring to get in my vehicle to drive 30 miles one way to sit uncomfortably for hours in a waiting room just to be told what you were. No thanks! If needed, and my fingers, lips etcetera turn blue... my a55 will be in an ambulance getting moved to the front of the ER line! Until that point is needed, I'm not putting others at risk nor myself just because of some discomfort. Being sick is UNCOMFORTABLE. No need to be traipsing around. Maybe you wouldn't have gotten so bad had you not been going to the ER so much. I'm at home until my body begins replicating aspects of a Smurf's. No blue hues, my a55 is staying on my couch. I'm not making myself sicker to go sit in the waiting room, petri dish of other sick uncomfortable people. No way.

I just got diagnosed with COVID pneumonia on Friday, symptoms began on Thursday. I'm glad they asked if I was OK getting a CT scan and chest x-ray because that found the pneumonia. They thought I had just COVID at first. Attentive care saved me some of those unfortunate steps you had to go through. No idea what my recovery will be like but right now I'm managing OK. I'm diabetic and the CT scan was actually intended to make sure I didn't have any blood clots in my lungs as that's a risk for diabetics (thankfully, no clots.)

I sell appliances. A lot of them. One thing I learned very quickly in the appliance biz is there are two kinds of washers for two kinds of people: Front-load washers which have had truly gargantuan amounts of R&D poured into them by the likes of LG, Bosch, Miele, etc, sold to customers who (in the US only) are needlessly skeptical about their reliability or performance and require a *lot* of convincing before they'll even entertain the thought of a front load machine. Then there are top-load washers built by Whirlpool (that means Maytag, Amana, Roper, Conservator, and whatever other brands they gobbled up this week) which haven't had any actual R&D money put into them or indeed and *improvement* in performance or reliability in nearly half a century if not more, and in fact, are being increasingly cost-cut by Whirlpool and the very premise by which they operate (floating clothes around in 70 gallons of steaming hot water) being unattainable by regulations, *BUT* they are sold to customers who will only buy top load machines because "That's what I'm used to" and otherwise refuse to believe the facts that top loaders wash worse, spin worse, and break down 3 times more often than LG front load machines. And as you discovered, nobody has good parts availability the last few years. So don't buy a useless water-starved clothes-rumbling weak-spinning ancient design top loader made of the cheapest possible union-labor stamped sheet metal that's going to cost you $5,000 in added electricity in the dryer over the next 10 years just because that old lumbering American brand *used* to have good parts and service. Not that it will last that long, but the customer will just buy another shiny new chrome finish top load boat anchor from whirlpoop with the same plastic junk transmission and ancient relays and mechanical timers in 2030 that will *STILL* be stuck at 700 RPM spin speed and dry clothes on top with detergent still drizzled on them. 😂😂😂

They filet your fish for a small fee. I dont think we did this day. But sportfishing charters can charge anywhere between 50 cents to a buck per fish. It’s convenient but be expensive if you have a huge amount of fish to contend with. Have a good one!

I guess i'm just too old school. To me, I just think all these digital controls around all this water is not a good match. Just bring back knobs and manual settings. Get rid of the washer in the government telling you how much water you can use. And have manual settings so you can control your own water. Just not impressed with any of these new machines especially when they wanna start tagging it As a smart machine. It's there to wash clothes. No spend 30 min thirty minutes programming it
