Can you test a 8v92 the same way?

The liner depth should be checked so you get a good crush on the head gasket to reduce any problems. .046 below the surface to get a good seal. Then no blown head gaskets

hi,had a question?have you ever experienced this,i just did a tuneup on my engine,one of the cylinders is not firing,first thought was to swap out the injector,so i did that,the injector was not new,was one i had around but it seemed to work good as i played with it before installing,i then ran the engine it actually was firing at idle,but once i put the juice on it went back to where it was not firing,any thoughts on this? also when i took out the injector i checked the bridge gap,supose to be .015 it was not even close the gap was .008,but im not sure it would do anything to a injector misfiring,i do have a new injector coming monday,i will try it again,thanks

Im having the same light white smoke at low idle, cant find anyone to work on these engines in south Florida. i will have to do it myself

Did you end up having to lift the entire engine at least a few inches in order to get access to the bottom end (oil pan removal for access to connecting rod clamps, bearings etc... )

Yes at the end it ran away . This unfortunately semi common with Detroit's. I keep a piece of 12"x12" aluminum sheet in the engine room. There is a emergency air shut off on the blower. It is a round knob and should have a cable attached. If pulled and is working properly it will close the door and kill the engine. If not put the aluminum against the opening of the air breather
