Do you have to use shims on the liner and how to you check what size shim

how did you do that on the boat? you have enough room on the boat for this job or did you lift the engine up? thanks

I had egnough room. I am working on. My other boat and had to lift the engine 8 inches

how did you attach the nuts to the bottom of the boat with engine still in the boat?
