yes, me also! two desks being dragged from one end of the school to the other, by the janitor, of course, and a 78 rpm at the end of the track going round and round and round!

This would be the bands second-to-last concert (their last concert is on my channel in Audio format) as This Heat. Their funeral tour set list was never my favorite, notably the cut of Horizontal Hold & Paper Hats for early Camberwells Now songs. Very odd cuts between songs, and audio quality shifts a lot; I don’t believe this is all from one concert. Regardless, this concert(s) had some solid performances on Greenfingers and Health & Efficiency, the quality was alright. Nice tape. 0:00 Greenfingers (Camberwell Now) 5:42 SQPR 8:44 Working Nights* (Camberwell Now) 14:38 Makeshift Swahili 19:08 Twilight Furniture 24:17 Music Like Escaping Gas** 25:28 A New Kind Of Water 31:03 Cenotaph 36:38 Health & Efficiency * = Mislabelled as ‘Aerial Photography’ ** = Not listed; but is performed. Most commonly mislabelled as ‘Unreleased Title,’ most likely due to the popular SQPR Bootleg mislabel.

Nice! I'll have to check the release info on Discogs and see if it had an alternate cover. Where'd you get it and most important, is it for sale? :D

Damn Aerial Photography is amazing, any idea whether it was later made into a Camberwell Now piece?
@MKNull6 жыл бұрын
It's mislabeled, the actual Aerial Phototography can be heard on Live 80-81. The actual song title is Working Nights, which yes was later a Camberwell Now song!

They were older when this one was released. The 12-15 yrs old from Wiki is talking about the band's formation in '77. Guitarist Elspeth McLeod was in her mid-20s. Still, the boys were awfully young.

I think LMY's work is as radical, at least as those of Marcel Duchamp or (his artist buddy) Man Ray.

Wow. Thanks for putting this up. There are 6 tracks listed. Is this the flip side of the other post, with I. The Machinist II. Suffering By Fire III. Cold World IV. Illusion Or is it another tape? You have the same text describing each. I am used to 4 song demos, and wondered if there are two. Amazing stuff.

It is. The two do sound remarkably similar because they were both made with the same instrument.
