It was very loud ...even up in the balcony. I had a great time...as it was very different from what I'd expect to "hear" at a dance presentation. I also enjoyed the opening part of the show to Gavin Bryars "Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet" . Glad to be able to find them on You Tube to have a second listen to !

how did it sound comparatively.i consider myself a lover of very progressive sound and music but i dont take to well although i realize that merce cunningham's dancers seemed to be enamored to the time they danced to it...

It is. The two do sound remarkably similar because they were both made with the same instrument.
