Great mastery of such a difficult piece!

Your recording of the Cavaille-Coll is so bad that it's impossible to make any kind of comparison. The console action noise of the CC is louder than the music! I was very disappointed, this could have been very informative.

This is the whole point of the video. To demonstrate the point of view from where the organist sits at the console.
Bravo! One of the few organists who play the left hand chords in the introductory section they were noted by the composer....

Hermoso, pero que pena que se pusieron hablar y quedó registrado, eso no se hace. - Beautiful, but what a shame that they started talking and it was recorded, that is not done.

I’m double checking my notes it might have always been 4 but if so I stand corrected.

When i had the opportunity to briefly play this organ in 1987 on a visit to the Austin factory to check on the progress of Opus 2711, IV/69 it had 3 manuals. It now clearly has 4.

Eddie, you never cease to surprise me. Is this composer Thai? This piece challenged me as a listener for sure but I’m glad you brang it. Don’t forget about Langlais 😀

Thank you! I believe Anthony Newman has a recording of this at SJD, but it seems to have be a slightly trimmed version from the middle section. 🙂

An outstanding organ presentation played by Mr Zheng. This song is one of my favorites. The song is a heavenly inspiration to your soul and heart. Mr Zheng's tempo was not fast, but performed with a dignified elegance of each note 🎵 and throughout the Widor organ recital. Bravo to this fine young man's performance. He has a great Future ahead in concert organ presentations. Again, Bravo.
