Ahh, Peter Billingsley - your career didn’t go into pizza, football or medicine, but you did take some time off acting… loved seeing PB on JC!

This episode is Johnny at his absolute best I was crying during monolog For todays Late night Talk ( we will call it that but its not) to butcher the fine entertaining genre Johnny invented ( constructed) built is a testament to whats wrong with California and NY But like an old ex at least we have the memories!❤

Porky Pig wasn't a Disney cartoon character. He was part of the Warner Bros Looney Tunes.

Never show the AUDIENCE as he walks out ???? A camera above the drapes would show in 3 flashes the AUDIENCE along with CARSON IN BETWEEN !!!!!!

I did not know Charles Finley came up with the Designated Hitter in MLB AL. He is a fascinating baseball guy, with interesting ideas. He is the opposite of the hearsay.

Noteworthy that Pres. Reagan was having memory issues as early as 1984 and that Mondale was aware.

One of the nights that Ed showed up drunk and couldn’t keep his mouth shut interupting Johnny . Snd Johnny handled it so well , looking back at Ed when he’d talk out of line or clanked his coffee cup down on their coffee table . Johnny would stair back at Ed for a spell , then give the audience a look like , what do you think? He then just asked Ed flat out if he wanted a cot to lie down back stage . So Johnny handled it with Comedy. Countless times Johnny would poke fun at Ed’s drinking , but this night , Ed lived up to the ficticious character with shinning colors !

Johnny was king back in the 60s - 80s. He could fall flat on his face with that nights monologue , yet save the night with his quick wit one liners about how bad the monologue was. !
