No it does not smoke. Probably just when cold after startup and such. But I guess some more smoke will be visible on hard acceleration, especially if the engine is old and tired.

Yes, I know. It’s only at idle after starting, if I give it some extra revs it goes away. It was converted from dual mass flywheel to single mass flywheel like 180.000km ago, so I think it’s something to do with that.

It might also be the heat shield resting on the exhaust, I have a new one ready to be replaced.

I find it interesting testing stuff, but something like this takes time and energy. And it’s not like anybody have sent me anything for free or pay for the time :) hehe. But I like documenting my findings. But I guess I then used my Nikon DSLR camera or maybe my iPhone. Yes if I lock it, you can actually see the difference in brightness. But it’s still just an indicator. Direct measurements with lux meter tells the real difference, although not perfect, but then you would need super expensive equipment. I just see a lot of tests and sellers like showing how bright the light is, but it’s just overexposed. Or maybe you have a really good light, if you use auto settings in the dark it will probably look the same as the bad light, since the camera is compensating.

The LED and fan on the bulb in this config is made to last at least 1500h of use. So 30km/h is the average speed of most driving, then they will last 45.000km of driving with headlights on.

@@majidheidarystories That's a different usecase, however those numbers are just MTBF (Mean TIme Between Failure) - some average number the factory figured out from internal testing... Your set could fail sooner, or last much longer. Regarding rentals, I don't really think it's worth it... You can buy a pretty big stack of regular bulbs for the price of single LED set...

Still looks nice, off course you will have some wear on the surface since it’s soft. But not started to peel, and then water starting to soak in under, which was my biggest concern. I guess caulking in the edges helps.

And you probably also have headlight wipers 👌 the big reflectors in those headlights also spreads the heat, so the reflective coating lasts for a long time.

Body is aluminum for heat dissipation. No these are for "off-road" use. The few types that are tested with ece, is only legal on the cars they have tested them with and the lumen output is not higher then halogen, so not really giving you any more light

It’s not a regular obd2 adapter, their program is works with a few different adapters, but they are more expensive then a cheap obd reader adapter.

Then you need canbus resistors between the bulb and connector. Philips and other manufacturers sell them.

Both return and feed seemed fine, I guess turbo would die quickly if clogged. Maybe take of piping to check if there is play in the shaft or maybe leaking turbo air pipes.

@@jobathano1660 Thank you for your reply, i will check for airpipe lieaks. I noticed one leak but i think that doesnt make turbo whine but a stud is broken at connecting point between DPF and Flexpipe så i have exhaust leak there. Will fix it soon
