Now Google "Bengal Famine of 1943". Churchill's policies killed over 3 million in India alone. British didn't "fight on the beaches". They stole wealth from their colonies and left millions to die. Sir Winston Churchill stood alone in the darkness and said this is the high water mark of the darkness and because of this very speech the war began to shift.
