Messed up going to temple bar. Feels like the typical brit stag do / hen night move. Try again and ask the driver where to go. Best times I've had started with that move. Oh and specific to Dublin watch Frank McCourt's "Historic Pubs" documentary.

Jeremy Lloyd was a wonderful presence. Fascinating voice and graceful manner. He stole scenes in numerous tiny cameos. A pity he never got a larger recurring role on TV. I wonder why he didn't consider himself for a role in a sitcom such as AYBS?

It's so weird to see them both look so old. I mean I'm used to see captain Peacock look a bit old but here Mr. Lucas also looks old haha. Boy I love them. I always watch their shows every night before I go to sleep. Are you being serve relaxes me.

And to think that ARE YOU BEING SERVED was only considered filler at first for BBC’s COMEDY PLAYHOUSE. If it hadn’t been for the Munich massacre, the series might not have ever been taken seriously…

My girlfriend and I are in the middle of rewatching this entire series again. We're in 1981. 3 more years to go and then it's Are You Being Served Again? Love this series. Mr. Lucas was always my favorite. Mr. Humphries is my girlfriend's favorite.

One of the things I loved about Mr. Humphries's character, it's clear that he's gay or at least not completely straight. And yet everyone else at the workplace loves him and enjoy spending time with him. None of them are nasty to him, you can tell that Mr. Lucas (whose very straight) considers Mr. Humphries his best friend at work and the way they talk, they probably hang out outside of work too. Mr. Humphries is also shown in a happy light, he's smart, witty, friendly, kind, and fun. No tragic shunning or unhappy life for Mr. Humphries. Considering the time period this show is set in, that was impressive to see for a queer character.

People wouldn't be exactly nasty, but Peacock and Grainger would make snide little remarks now and then.

Mulberry popped up on my tablet to watch. I thought well, I will give it a try. I went through the whole series in one evening. It was a wonderful program. Imagine my sorrow at the end that wasn’t an end. I imagined how it would play out. She would see herself sitting in her chair, smile gently and walk out of her home. There would be Mulberry waiting for her, hand outstretched. Hand in hand they would leave this world. NO season three. I am distraught to say the least. How could it be cancelled? All the stupid, insiiped fluff they have on TV nowadays, it makes no sense. I am SAD.
