I've got one of these in great condition mechanical wise, just needs a good cleaning, but I'm interested in totally disassembling the razor so I can clean it and buff/polish it up! It was handed down to me and hasn't been used in probably 40 years!

It could work but you have to careful because you don’t know what condition the plating is in. There’s not much a toothbrush can’t get out that a brass brush can with these razors. I’m sure there’s a place for it. Just some of these razors barely have plating left and some that do it’s just so thin. Depends on the razor and condition. Nickel is more durable usually

Is the burning sensation more than the pinaud clubman classic after shave lotion? And is it worth buying? I'm waiting my order of paa cube 2.0, gondolier, cad soaps but not matching after save collgnes.

I bought the bowl at Wal-Mart. It’s a salsa bowl. I took a router to it to put the lines in it.

I recently had two bad shaves back-to-back, and I’m honestly not sure why. I had a bunch of nicks, some of which I had to hit with alum like 3 times. Then the next two shaves were two of the smoothest I have ever had.

I usually shave every two or three days. I’m yet to have to wait longer to shave but I nicked myself pretty good tonight so only time will tell lol.
