Currently trying the grandpa brewing style for the first time. I saw it for the first time in relationship with the Chinese police inviting people for a "cup of tea". I also saw this brewing method in Taiwanese, Chinese and Hong Kong films, but mainly in Taiwanese films.

I will never understadn using 5 % of materials and marketing it for 130+ even on 50 this would be a premium tabled, when I visited china there where so many nicely designed tea trays for not even a fraction that where bigger and where nicely made some of them even per hand. and this cost somewhat 130 the materials combined don`t even reach 5 bucks. I just don`t understand it. Tea culture is not about this.. why is there no good online stor ethat sells the onc ethat are traditional. why is it nearly cheaper to fly privately to china get a tray and a dozen bring them back and selling them here and even then for half the price to get my money back and still being cheaper than this tray? Yes this si overexatherated but it is frustrating seeing things like this.

I wish KZbin had choices other than thumbs up and thumbs down. I'd select a crying icon. Children being sick makes me sad. Even more when they are the children of good people. There are several bright spots here. HSP seems to be unpleasant but transient, so Aiyana will almost certainly get better! Cardiac care has progressed by leaps and bounds and what was once a drastic condition can be treated relatively easily. Also, you are in the UK which has a civilized health system, so Aiyana's care will not turn you into paupers. You still have some rough seas to sail through, however, so keep drinking good tea and keep your eyes on the goals which are within your reach.

Another great video, Don! Fascinating that the colour does not match the taste. The Qun Ti Zhong looks greener (both the leaf and the liquor) but is described as ripe mango, whilst the Xiao Ye Zhong looks less green but is described as having a green mango taste! I have found a very decent Yunnan-grown Zhu Ye Qing a couple of years back. It doesn't quite meet the quality of the 'original' but for the price is very pleasant. What are others' experiences with this tea type?

I found a nice but plain shou pu'erh. I would drink it, but not my fav... I got some Nuo Mi Xiang (rice scented herb) and put a pinch or two in with it. Gives it that extra character I wanted from the tea. Ez Pz way to "top" your tea. :)

For brewing green teas, i prefer lower temps at 175-178. If i go into the 180s it's usually for pearls. I also follow a tea master who pushes the idea of open lid brewing for green and fresh white teas.

I pushed this to 8 infusions, and it got better each time: sweeter and more floral, more chocolatey and rich. Beautiful.

I have a couple from my local shop in AZ I'd like to send you to get your opinion.
