I have Mi Box 4K. I tried to increase storage by plugging pen drive to the box and then formatting it as device storage. It worked and I can utilize the storage. Problem I am facing is, when I switch off the box and switch it on again, pen drive gets corrupted and its not getting connected to the box. Anybody facing this issue? Any solution on it.

Hi, so I used to have a USB flash drive plugged to my MIBox3 and I removed it cos I wanted to put an app there to then transfer to the box and it's the worst I did cos now it says it's not supported by the Box and I don't even know how or what to format I should format it to.. whether it being NFTS or NTFS or whatever or ex-FAT(default) or other and how I should do it. I corrected bugs and it says device is running properly. I tried plugging it to the box and besides saying it's not supported as such storage.. it doesn't let me use either as external or internal storage, which was actually what I wanted because as I try to use Kodi, I don't know if it's the builds or what that slows it down and I think it's due to poor storage space as the box only has 5.6GB...thus wanting to use the USB drive as internal storage. Please help...I've google it up but can't seem to find a solution

One thing that bothers me is that when you insert an USB drive with APKs into Mibox, you can not install them, I managed to solve this by an App from Google play store : MiBox APK installer, hope it helps others who also need this.

So an element of realisation. DON'T BUY THIS DEVICE. You cannot play or open files copied onto the disk by other devices such as pc, tablets, mobile phone etc.
