I have heard of it just had a bit of Christmas fatigue but that point is all. I also thought it ended on the 25th not started! The more you know
@grahamcook92896 күн бұрын
@@the_footballtourist I fully understand your Christmas fatigue as it starts so early now, the commercial aspects long before December even. Christmas is meant to be a religious festival celebrating the Nativity that starts on the 25th of December and lasts for 12 days until the 5th of January. You must at some point in your life have heard the Christmas carol 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' where each day has an increasing number of gifts? Of course Christianity hijacked the celebration from the pagans who celebrated the winter solstice, the shortest day on the 21/22, as the planet's rebirth when the days start getting longer again and people knew that summer would return and with it plant growth and the crops that sustained life. Of course Christmas for Gillingham now means the rebirth of the Manager. Bit like when they change the Doctor in Doctor Who. The King is Dead. Long Live the King! 🤣

Brilliant derby, excellent support and brilliant video. I remember going to Aldershot with Gillingham, as both teams played in the old Div4, and there was never any trouble although we were rivals at the time. The ground and fans could easily support an EFL team. Very difficult getting out of the Conference though, as the years gone by have showed.
