Hey Greg! Loving the content, but in the past few months, it seems like it's the same content all over, with different titles: productize your service, add other revenue streams etc. Again, who knows? I'm just one subscriber out of your 25K, so who cares about my input. I'm giving you my feedback as I'm also growing a business, and many of us look up to you as the OG in the industry. I think these content pieces would make a killing: how you sped up your sales cycle, what led you to rebrand your website, and how the scaling back process is doing so far percentage-wise. In the age of AI, where everyone can be a content creator, there's a shortage of original content. I'm also getting into the KZbin game next month..so will no longer be watching the game from the sidelines, but will be on the field with you!
@gregoryjhickman5 күн бұрын
@@Rob-w7x Appreciate the feedback. I have content coming on the scaling back piece. Some sales content stuff in the pipeline but spoke a bunch about that not too long ago so I’d go back on the channel where I break down our sales process and the 4 phases of implementation of that process which answers the question you mentioned. When you talk about rebrand the website do you mean the new look and feel that just was revealed this year or the name switch to AltAgency in 2020? I believe I’ve talked about that previously as well but have to go back and look. RE: similar content - I’m doing content that the metrics and actual buyers are telling me brought them to me. I cover a lot more in depth personal “inside stuff” with our paying members. Also, as you dive into your YT journey what you’ll learn is that you will have to learn to say the same things over in new ways and not get bored of it. :) Most of our paying members had to hear me say the same thing for years before it finally hit. So while there is fresh stuff coming for sure, (like a whole series on how I use KZbin and my production process), ya gotta replay the hits :) (if that makes sense! ) Appreciate your feedback as well!

@@gregoryjhickmanRe: rebrand -- mainly the new look and feel. I thought that was a move related to possibly increasing conversions, etc. Could also be that I might be a bit more advanced since I've been consuming your content since 2018 LOL. Makes sense to have top-of-funnel content if it's the main driver for conversions/revenue. Even Hormozi uses the same playbook. I've hired a KZbin consultant (Nolan Molt..he used to work @ ThinkMedia), so I have a lot to learn for sure.

@reconcostarica236216 күн бұрын
My biggest takeaway, @@gregoryjhickman, involves not talking more about ourselves than our prospects' situation in their words, for which we need to have lots of experience with their condition. Everything else we build or do seems rooted to this requirement. If it's all about us, the agency won't align well with itself since, paradoxically, the client is the agency, not us. Wrong issues to address means wrong agency alignment. Only the client's experience yields the issues to address.

My biggest takeaway: "being able to pay is not a qualifying criteria". I often heard the opposite advice, but in the context of an alt agency it makes sense to sell three on-a-budget clients a productized service, rather than do custom work for a high-hourly-rate-paying client. This is so easy to understand, but harder to execute. I have a high-paying client like that, but it’s scary to “fire” him 😅
@gregoryjhickman19 күн бұрын
@@bashvlas Why is it hard to execute? Go replace the value of the current one with something more leveraged then you’ll be less “dependent” on one.

my intention with this comment: curiosity/challenging, not trying to tear down or judge because there is 1000+ ways to build a coaching business. BUT - if you can do $1m/yr or even $10m/yr with one core product / offer, why have all of these complicated offers / systems with different levels of access? what problem does it solve? obviously it sounds fun. i've done this model myself. but I've never found that it maximizes cash and client results. typically, the premium program gets clients the best results, or at least has the highest chance of getting them the best result. and makes you the most cash. anything that takes head space, time or energy away from selling that one product that makes you the most cash and gets clients the best results is a distraction. I see so many people do this model in avoidance of taking sales calls and building a team. thats really the only reason they do it. to build a "lifestyle business". we do around $1.5m/yr right now. I've done THIS EXACT model to T learning from Dan + James. all of this stuff just to avoid building a team instead of actually doing the upfront work required to serve all clients at the highest level by building a proper team - which is really the only way to have a "lifestyle business" is to actually have a team that you've recruited trained & manage well. now obviously, if you have zero intention of every getting to 8 figures, then you can really do whatever you want and still make money if you have an audience. but in terms of maximizing cash & client results... Content/Ads --> Sales Call & team --> High-Ticket Program (that actually gets them results & is high touch) --> 1-1 Support for EVERY client After feeling "stuck" and in my head on this model with "tiers" because it sounds sexy I finally just decided to build a team & have one offer, one funnel and take it to $10m/yr - its the best decision i've ever made. curious your thoughts or even to chat about it ✌ (love your content btw)

Great video,Greg! I have a question. Suppose you hire an employee to run Google ads for your client and they mistakenly set the budget to $1000 per day instead of $100 per day and don’t really for few days and then come to you with a number that is so high in daily spend that it is a loss for client, a number like $7,000 instead of what the client was willing to spend which is $3,000 per month then how do you handle these type of issues wherein the employee made a mistake?is there any particular way you handle these type of issues?
@gregoryjhickmanАй бұрын
@@Om-gg5tk Pretty specific situation. At the end of the day as the owner it’s your fault. And your responsibility. If it were me, I’d most likely 1) apologize to the client 2) reimburse them or cover that amount of ad spend moving forward 3) Setup better procedures and QC, rules in ads manager so that amount of money couldn’t be spent in a day. Work with the employee to make sure that doesn’t happen again.
