Wow! That meditation was amazing! The succinct guidance was so powerful. I was able to connect with my body more than ever with any other meditation. Your explanations are magnificent! Such a gem between 19:24 to 20:10. Your talk after the meditation was so clarifying and I have a greater understanding of the purpose of meditation. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and love! Can't wait to do the meditation again and listen to other talks.❤❤❤

Good morning Tobi☺️ Thank you again for a lovely session. Quick question, in order to develop or perhaps, evolve from the ordinary mindset, grasping mind, do you believe just doing the breathing meditation is all that is needed? I really enjoy, although challenging, just watching the play of the mind and letting go.... it provides space in the mind. However, how does this help with jealousy or worry etc... much appreciate your thoughts when you have time🙏🏻💓

Thank you so much for talking the time to answer my question in the session Tobi....great explanation and l have a better understanding of why we need to take our time and ask ourselves such important questions like "why am l doing this"? so easy to just get in a habit of doing things without really thinking about the why.🙏thank you for all the work you put into this channel, it is appreciated.

Thank you Tobi...I have a fascination around time and really enjoyed this session.... I was wondering, what do you think about working towards enlightenment them? DO you think that also is a "needing to get somewhere" mindset? I have struggled with the notion of needing to do more before l die, because we do not know when that time may come...but then l notice how this causes me to feel unsettled and unhappy. Great to hear your thoughts🙂
@phuket.meditation7 ай бұрын
Good question Mel - thanks for asking. Actually, you need a bit of both. One aspect of your self needs to get somewhere, evolve and grow. Another aspect of yourself doesn't. It's valuable to be skilled in both areas, being and doing. Not preferring one over the other - at least when you're conscious enough to notice. Both aspects are important 👍
@melwills38228 ай бұрын
Thanks again Toby for a great talk. I was wondering, does the wish to be free also create tension in the mind? The mere seeking to be free continues to drive a person in such a way that this too means they are in fact not free? Appreciate your thoughts and thanks again💓
@phuket.meditation7 ай бұрын
Another good point! Think of it like this: A drowning person needs to make use of the water in order to get back to safety (if they can). It's this drive to be safe that gets them to safety. Letting go of the drive before you reach the shore is unskillful. It's thanks to the drive that you approach the divine - it's actually an expression of love and compassion, the wish to be truly happy. You only fully let go of this wish at the very end of this path. When the drowning person is safe, they don't need to use water to get to safety anymore.
