Oh, those Kas Richloom bags are amazing. And, to think, this is where it all began. :)

OMG, I LOOOOOVE that Lumberjack Hat/Beard! I can't find anywhere to buy it (not on Ravelry, PayHip, Etsy) but I found her on Instagram and have sent a request.

I absolutely love your chats. Let’s bring the goblin-y, bog witchiness! 🙌 Happy Thanksgiving, Amy Beth. ❤ PS. Loved the different sounds coming from your cute little familiar. PPS. The Serenity prayer is my mantra a lot lately and I lolled when you shared the “rootin’ tootin’” version. 😂

OMG, I've never heard of Ingeo or yarn made from corn!!! Did you knit yours up? What did you think about it. Of course Corny Goodness is no longer in business but googling tells me it's still available, at least as a fiber.

By the way, I wasn't aware that you had a group on Ravelry, but you referred to it many times in these 10-year-old videos. Do you still use that group? Also, I've been watching your videos in order from the first, and this is the first time you asked folks if they would like it if you made project bags. lol

You inspired me. I googled "wool farm near San Francisco" and I found several farms I had never heard of. I ordered a sweaters quantity of yarn from the farm located in Half Moon Bay (not far south of SF). Valhalla Farms: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnfLgpWeeJ2ribc. Thx!

I've never seen a burlesque show, but it sounds interesting. But I do like stand up comics, especially female stand up comics. But I hate hate hate those that are vulgar and nasty. So, who are my favorites? Leann Morgan (you can watch her on YT, Amazon, Netflix, Spotify), Atsuko Okatsuka (sadly, she is mostly on HBO, which I don't have), Tig Notaro (YT and Netflix), Katherine Madigan (Netflix, Amazon, KZbin), Fortune Feimster (Netflix, KZbin). But one of the BEST, most skillfully performed stand up routines (IMHO) I've ever seen is John Mulaney's "Baby J" (Netflix). It was brilliantly written and brilliantly performed. I've probably listened to it/watched it 50 times. It cracks me up EVERY TIME.

In this episode, you were so thrilled with the book "Let's Pretend This Never Happened" that I paused this vlog and purchased the audio book and listed to about an hour of it. OMG, that book is not my humor AT ALL. Her father was a brutal sadist. I relate to her stories because I also grew up on a small family farm and my father loved to hunt and fish and my mother raised a single calf for slaughter each year. My father also had his own gun cabinet. This is why I became a vegetarian and am still a vegetarian today, over 40 years later. Her father was a cruel, sadistic man. I don't care about the swearing in her book, but those brutal, bloody stories, full of animal death..... <shudder>

Hi, AB. I've been stuck in the bog for a bit, have only now just come up for air and watched your last 4 videos. If you ever need a hand to hold, I've got two for you. T-Day is hard, no one to celebrate with. I usually get Chinese and call it a day. My thankfulness is that I'm still on the right side of the grass. Or bog. Hugs

Absolutely love the tangents! They are so absorbing. I really appreciate your views and the way you talk about things- like couples therapy, so intriguing! I love your approach, so approachable and so wise. Love the moody November millieu. Abandoned carnival is a great name. The needlepoint is fantastic, beautiful colours! Also love the colours on the mini pheasants, so pleasing!

Any chance your motion light is in test mode? That mode is for adjusting the angle, brightness, etc, so it only stays on for a few seconds. Thanks for inviting us over for another cozy visit. I love all of the podcasters & vloggers I follow (I'm sure we were all friends in a past life), but none of them make me laugh out loud as often as you do. Thank you for that. It's much needed at the moment. ❤

I’m a squirrel looking for nuts and found a delightful one in you. I finished my gusset decreases on my sock before you got around to talking about yarn projects.😂 I’m a needlepointer from Kaffe Fassett and Elizabeth Bradley days post Erica Wilson. Your canvas is either double thread (Penelope) or interlock which is stiffer than double thread. When working without a frame interlock doesn’t fray as easy as mono ( single thread) or distort during stitching. Mono canvas offers a larger variety of mesh sizes (32 to 16 mesh) allowing for greater detail stitching such as petit-point. With double thread canvas, the threads can be split apart in areas so that it converts to mono canvas allowing you to combine larger and smaller stitches on the same canvas. Often larger stitches are use to fill in background and smaller for detail. 😊

It is so lovely seeing you more regularly! You really are such a delight. The cardigan turned out beautifully and so did the quilted bag. When I'm not feeling like eggs but still want the same kind of comfort, I usually switch to tofu scramble. Also, very much here for goblin mode/baba yaga vibes especially this year - oofta!

For your cardigan, I’m thinking …. Maybe some short rows to widen the non-button band part, tapering up to meet at the neck joint…. so as not to ride up on your neck
