Truly mind boggling playing 2 guitar fretboard simultaneously to give two distinctive right hand pluck percussive and left tap the strings guitar techniques combined together. Not an easy feat for any ordinary guitarist like me. Thanks for a wonderful demo of playing two fretboard together at one go.

It goes from sounding like a guitar to sounding like a harp, cascading is the perfect word for it! Thank you! : )

Thank you for the wonderful lessons. A lot of KZbin teachers sell this as their secret technique for mastering the fretboard, but you made it available for free! Do you have some lessons about open (spread) triads, used for example by Eric Johnson?

It takes some practice to hit the record exactly on the '1' to start and just after the '4' to stop the loop record. One way I've used when recording my rhythm track on a song is to play the first 4 bars through and repeat hitting record on the '1' of the first bar again.

Thanks for the posting .A friend of mine introduced his album called "cowboy calipso" in mid 70's, ,and since then we were one of his fans. We found that album had all the sublime pieces. At that time he played 1950's Martin D-28,and it also sounded good. In the mid 90's I had a chance to hear a guitar player ,playing Russ's "reel" on the album ,and I really got to know that Russ had a significant time-keeping technichs,, And now I love his banner J-45 with maple body and sides. If there would be a chance ,I would like to hear him playing banner J-45 with all mahogany ,which I saw at the pages of some guitar shop.Sorry to long!
