Dear Sir, First of all, thank you very much! Such a kind and generous human being you are! ❤️🎸 Right now, I'm referring to your pdf... And, I wanna ask why the notes to em chords aren't notated on the staff clef (except the first group of measures explaining the "verse")... Thanks a lot! 🙏💌
@GuitarGathering12 күн бұрын
Thanks for the question. I'm not sure I know exactly what you are asking but here are a few things. An E minor chord has notes that are... E-G-B. For an Em7, the notes are E-G-B-D. Every example after the first one is written in slash notation. So, the slashes represent the length of time the chord is in effect. You can play whatever rhythm you want with the chords. The reason why I didn't continue writing the melody out in standard notation after the first time is because the melody doesn't change and I was primarily illustrating the movement of the chords. I hope this helps. Learn all you can! - Steve

TGBTG..Steve. I have been working on the Triads almost every day since June its December now. Just the first three strings though. I'm grateful for your vivid instructions. I have moved to the 2nd,3rd,and 4th strings now and gradually I have learned something special. I like to hear myself. Thank you for your advice on Eldy's Music Theory as well. I really appreciate you. There's an awful lot of videos and tutorials on KZbin, but you my friend are my Favorite Guitar Teacher.

So these are like a 6th BELOW the root right? Ex in c, c and e. As opposed to a 6th ABOVE the root, ex in c , c and a ?? I'm confused.. i.e. Why is there no a in your version of playing c and it's sixth?

Lovely, Steve! Very smooth, my friend. I haven't seen a Barney Kessel in years - I played with a guy in the 80's that had one. Very rare, indeed!

Truly mind boggling playing 2 guitar fretboard simultaneously to give two distinctive right hand pluck percussive and left tap the strings guitar techniques combined together. Not an easy feat for any ordinary guitarist like me. Thanks for a wonderful demo of playing two fretboard together at one go.

Thank you for the wonderful lessons. A lot of KZbin teachers sell this as their secret technique for mastering the fretboard, but you made it available for free! Do you have some lessons about open (spread) triads, used for example by Eric Johnson?

It takes some practice to hit the record exactly on the '1' to start and just after the '4' to stop the loop record. One way I've used when recording my rhythm track on a song is to play the first 4 bars through and repeat hitting record on the '1' of the first bar again.
