I never liked Rio, but, he did have the show on his back, I more liked annie, Sadie, and ruby, not really beth. My opinion, though

I really liked the show, Rio was one of the reasons I liked the show. Christina's acting was not that great and Manny Montana brought a sort of presence to the show, and plus he's hot. He did a great job protraying his character.

If they would have had more scenes with Rio / Manny the show would have been a much bigger hit...well too bad.

We all miss this. I wish they would get it together and put a season five on everyone that I've ever spoken to about this loves it very much.!!!

The primary audience of this show is women, so YES most of you are biased about Rio and I’m going to give Manny credit for doing an incredible job at playing Rio, but I think I gotta say that I was sat for Beth, Ruby, and Annie’s storylines, not Rio’s. This show falls victim of some really bad writing tropes and I’m going to blame the writers for flopping so hard. While many of you are blinded by the thirst of Rio, he could’ve had so much more of an interesting storyline. Instead we got a constant repeat of his actions and even his positive moments are overshadowed by his bad moments. While many will blame Beth, I definitely think she had a lot of angles to her story arc and Rio was constantly written as the blockade. All in all, I genuinely think Rio is a major and fun character that adds great dynamics to the main characters, but is held down by his god awful storylines and bland writing. Again I want to preface that a ton of you are blinded by him being the hot criminal guy and ignore that his character arc is terrible and did nothing but rinse and repeat all the time.

Loved the show, but there is no reason for a second season.

I have seen every episode of this but have yet to see any episodes of Ozark or Breaking Bad.

In 2024 and I’m still grieving the fact there will never be a season 2

There are so many Netflix shows that absolutely such have terrible storylines or just don’t make any sense but this one was so good and I wish Netflix would bring it back because there are so many questions that need to be answered and I want and ending

We dont know what went on behind closed doors with his mother, talent agent, directors etc the pressures of child actors..hopefully no molestation, codependency etc..Still never an excuse for murder...🙏 Some ppl can snap...dont know the relationship w his mother or family function...or dysfunction..if there was drugs or mental illness prevslent...Sad...😔🙏 I also agree and believe in the forces of evil in possibly the shows he could have been in....everything could be a factor ..

Rio was the whole reason I watched the show. Replacing him would only cause to eventually cancel the show anyway. Same result.

I only watched the whole series just for Rio and Beth 💀 and if they're not in the season then I ain't watching

if Montana was the reason it was cancelled and they would've had to recast him then I rather the show be cancelled lmao he makes the show, so replacing him wouldn't have done any good for another season in my opinion

Netflix sucks in all honesty, they destroy so many series. Netflix monopolizes awesome animation and anime, then just let them rot, shit ass service... It's close to how Crunchyroll shutdown VRV... VRV was legendary compared to Crunchyroll. VRV had it all, crunchy is dirt compared to VRV. Stupid freaking license agreements from people who already have plenty and oppresse the general populace from promoting content. Its just dumb, why keep something from being developed just because you want to be the sole owner of it's rights.,.

This show was made with what seems the style of the audience for Cartoon network fans and viewers and I bet it would have done tons better on their network versus the Evil Netflix cancellers of all shows that don't fit their mold or their world views. Maybe they were angry being called out as lizard people and all of their secrets being exposed 👿👿.

Seriously dropped the service because they keep cancelling shows after a 2 or 3 year emotional investment with no warning. If the show doesn't have an ending, I don't want to start it. RIP Santa Clarita Diet (I am still falling from that cliff)

I was in between series and watched it as a filler even though its not usually my stule, I stayed and got invested because of Rio! The intensity of his character is hot hot hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I'd watch a spin-off with him and please take Annie ...Mae Whitman has always been an amazing actor!
