What are you talking about? What do you actually know about what "God" wants you to listen to? What is appropriate?! Hahahahaha, this is ridiculous. Either call yourself a prophet and be done with it, or devote yourself to "something bigger than you" and stop pretending you know what GOD wants.

What prevents me to convert in Christianity is 1 - Contradiction between divine foreknowledge and free will. You can't have free will if God knows the future. Jesus said to Peter, " You will deny me 3 times". This mean, that no matter what Peter did, he was always going to deny Jesus. So no Free will for him. 2 - Sedevacantists are right, Post Vatican 2 council Popes are heretic, the explanation of Catholics are pathetic far-fetched attempts to justify what is unjustifiable. And so, if you have heretic Popes, then Jesus was a liar or confused, the gates of Hell did Triumph over the church, rendering the Catholic Church as a fake one. And of course, Protestantism is a nonsense. 3 - The core of Christianity is quite a nonsense. You have Adam and Eve, and because of them we have the original sin, which is completely unfair, but what if they did not sin. What would have been different?, would all of us be saved directly as we don't have original sin or not? But where is free will here then? And then, what is the point of Jesus dying? Now we need to be good persons but also have faith? What kind of accomplish is that? Quite a lame sacrifice for us. This sacrifice of Jesus is quite complex that in the end nobody understand anything. Things should be simple, you are a good person, you go to heaven, you are a bad person, you go to hell. Period.

Christians are meek push-overs in modern society. These "protected groups" made sure they got special protections by the state (see, that's the trick to this). Followers of Christ need to strip away the protected group status other religions have. It's only being used to undermine Christianity. Stop playing games with science - science is a constantly changing body of knowledge. Faith is eternal. Again this game is to undermine Christianity. Lastly, Christians have to stop religious discussions with "I follow Jesus, my savior" and end it right there. No one gets points for being "nice" in the matter of faith.

I'm honestly trying to be an open Protestant, but to imply that "full of grace" means sinless is beyond me. There is no reason the Scriptures could not have said, "Free from sin". Is this really the one verse that Catholics use to defend Mary as being sinless? And to say that "All have sinned" would imply Jesus sinned is so empty. The Scriptures explicitly say that "He knew no sin but became sin on our behalf." Nothing remotely similar is said of Mary. Mary was 100% human. She was not 100% deity. How can one say Jesus and Mary were both 100% human, but only Jesus was 100% deity, and yet both didn't sin? Again, I went into this video trying to have an open mind, but to make a case for Mary being sinless based on "full of grace" is just too big a pill to swallow. It further makes her the only 100% human (and not deity) in history to have never sinned, which makes no spiritual or logical sense whatsoever. I really tried to be open here, but it's too much of a stretch on so many levels.

It’s very true that Agnostic people that I know who are Secular Humanists would experience Social alienation if they converted to Christianity or God forbid Catholicism. I have faith that the Holy Spirit can override these fears that people rightly have. For example I have a friend who has a child who is part of the LGBTQ community and I think she would struggle with the Catholic teaching on sexuality and fear that her child would reject her if she converted. It’s a real thing and this is why I pray so much for the Holy Spirit to move in their heart to push past these fears. 🙏💕🙏

The word used for Mary and the word used for Jesus in terms of grace are different and i find it very intellectually dishonest that you included the word for Mary but then tried to say its the same for Jesus even though its not. Why is it Catholics feel its appropriate to "venerate" Mary when Jesus didn't, even though He had multiple chances to?

The way I see it, people like Jordan Peterson have tremendous success evangelizing agnostics and atheists BECAUSE he is not a Christian and that gives him credibility with them. Otherwise, they would just look at him as another Christian trying to evangelize as opposed to a secular psychologist who has no dog in the fight and simply wants to expound on the treasures within the biblical narrative. He may actually evangelize more people by not being a Christian then otherwise. I trust that God would have his hand over Dr. Peterson and ensure he doesn’t die before converting, but it may benefit more the Kingdom if he does not convert quite yet. Just a thought

The problem I have is most people who come to Christ came when they had problems why should anybody come to Christ when they don't fail in life? when it will in fact make their lives worse. And I don't see why God blames them for that yeah if you start screwing up and you can't manage it that's perfectly almost no excuse not to come to Christ.

I am a Christian who was getting into the more empathetic way of thinking. This whole thing sounds like quackery to the common world. When I read the Bible it deterred me like nobody's business do you know what this sounds like to an outsider. Do you understand what I've come to not bring peace but a sword and divide the family sounds like. I completely understand why people would reject Christ it takes a spiritual experience and whether you preach it to somebody you have absolutely no control over it

Since you have JP on your thumbnail - he is wealthy enough to live comfortably without making any more money and has people who are Catholic around him. So he would be still in a really good position (compared to regular people like us) even if he lost some people and source of income because of his faith. My guess is that he won’t convert until he is cancelled by DW and loses support from American “conservatives”. It was noticeable that he started to have intellectually dishonest takes on certain matters since he started working for DW. I no long see him perusing the truth. Living with the Catholic Faith would inconvenience him in the pursuit of more wealth and fame.

Honestly, I'm not even in the church that long (eight years this year), but I'm already tired of the cult of the "searching ones". I find it frustrating and merely appeasing to modern world's sensibilities to overly respect the "searching" who don't ever want to find anything. It's not a sign of authenticity, it's a sign of intellectual laziness at best and cowardice towards commitment at worst. And I am kinda offended with this "respect from afar" condescending attitude as well; Catholicism is downright insane, it's beautiful, but absolutely mad, if you "respect" it, it means you're picking and choosing the stuff that personally appeals to your worldview or worse, politics, just as much you're willing to disect and "respect from afar" anything, from Buddhism to Don Miguel Ruiz to whale noises to Satanism. With an agressive anti-theist (like I was) I have much more in common - at least we agree on the fact that whether God exists or not is important. Like, most important. Peterson - as a pars pro toto - values his viewership most, more than God, more than the Truth and therefore, more than himself.

@Brian Holdsworth, Your point is an important one: That people have to embrace God's invention for themselves. ***A reporter once once asked Mother Teresa what the will of God was for her. The saint responded: "It is not so important for us to know the will of God. What IS important is that we not hinder Him so much." When the interviewer pressed further, Mother added: "It's the next step that we don't want to take."*** Great presentation today! +Peace+ 👍

I believe you are a man with a good heart and a desire to know the Lord. But the RCC is a corrupt and false system which can save nobody with their idolatrous practices of praying to a clone of the pagan Mother Goddess and a parade of dead saints. I've never heard a Catholic say anything about being born again, and the man at the helm of the RCC, Bergoglio, is an absolute abomination. Having said that, I can see the light of Christ in your eyes and sense you are a man with a clean heart and I wish the Lord's blessing and guidance on your life.
@germankoster4910Сағат бұрын
Except the comment about Bergoglio, what you say are nothing but stupidities, and this comes from a non Christian. Having art is a way to praise God, having saints and asking for their help in the same way you can ask a friend to pray for you it's not wrong either. And considering the mother of Jesus as the greatest human being alongside his son in the worst case is nothing but an error, which probably is not.

@germankoster4910 it's obvious you have never studied Scripture. Catholicism and Biblical Christianity are completely incompatible. As for Mary, yes she is to be honored, which she is, but the Catholic version showing her in some grotto, and the alleged apparitions are demonic in nature. You have no idea what a Christian even is.

Brian, communist or not, every country in Europe was funding housing for their citizens after the war. Every European country was bulding hospitals, schools, public transportation and supported employment - most people were illiterate. Free market would not solve the problems of devastated Europe. Countries like Poland or Soviet Russia went even further and gave people nearly free electricity, water and earth gas, maybe this was a little too much but as i said without a little bit of communism here and there, poeole would die out, its a much colder climate than US, and homelessness is lethal.

The Catholic doctrine says Mary remained a virgin her whole life is not true. She had other children, Jesus was the oldest. James and Jude were his brothers and he had sisters too. Catholics pray to Mary and they don't read the Bible. The Catholics have a warped view that Mary controls Jesus. Mary was a very special person but not diety.

A huge reason people in the west gave up on religion back in the late 2000's, at least from what I saw in America, was a lot of us were raised to, "just be good." An ideal instilled in us by our over reactive Boomer parents who did NOT practice what they preached. So we got out into the real world, and nothing we learned in church helped us to get anywhere financially, which is an important factor in your early life no matter how you slice it. If anything, our employers took this as an opportunity to use us and walk all over us. All that being said- I believe that religion is going to make a massive resurgence back into western culture, but it can NOT be what our parents used it for. It can't be used as a weapon of fear and control for every little thing they don't like even if it has nothing to do with the gospel. It can NOT be interoperated by the majority as a means of punishment for the rising generation. It must be seen as a viable path of hope, community, and betterment in ALL areas of our lives.

I think, if people were being completely honest, it isn’t just the admission of mistakes - - which is huge - - but also the knowing deep down that they must then stop doing those things. They must stop the sins that we all, to varying degrees, we’re taught by our culture to love.

The Scripture warns against adding to or removing from God’s word, as these actions lead to grave spiritual consequences. This principle directly challenges the doctrine of the Trinity. 1. The Bible’s Warning Against Adding or Removing From Scripture The Bible repeatedly warns believers not to tamper with God’s word: • Deuteronomy 4:2: “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” • Proverbs 30:5-6: “Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.” • Revelation 22:18-19: “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life.” These warnings make it clear that tampering with the word of God leads to dire consequences, such as being found false and losing one’s place in the Book of Life. 2. The Doctrine of the Trinity Is Not in the Bible The word “Trinity” is not found in the Scriptures. It is a man-made doctrine formalized centuries after Christ, during the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. It attempts to reconcile the nature of God with human reasoning, which is contrary to biblical teaching: • Isaiah 55:8-9: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. This shows that human attempts to define God beyond what is revealed in Scripture result in error. The Trinity Contradicts Clear Biblical Teachings: • God Is One: The Bible consistently declares the oneness of God: • Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one!” • Isaiah 44:6: “I am the first, and I am the last; besides Me, there is no God.” • Jesus Is Not God: Jesus himself acknowledged that the Father is the only true God: • John 17:3: “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” • John 14:28: “The Father is greater than I.” The Trinity attempts to explain God as three co-equal persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-despite the Bible never teaching this concept. 3. The Danger of Believing in the Trinity By adopting the Trinity, people add to God’s word concepts that are not biblically supported, violating God’s commands. This leads to worship practices that deviate from the truth. • Matthew 15:9: “And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” • Colossians 2:8: “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” The Trinity is a prime example of human philosophy and tradition corrupting the pure teachings of God’s word. 4. Why It’s Critical to Stay True to the Scriptures According to the Scripture, salvation depends on strict adherence to the Bible. Adding or removing doctrines leads to spiritual destruction: • Galatians 1:8: “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.” True Christians must reject teachings like the Trinity, which distort the message of the Bible. Instead, they should worship the one true God-the Father-whom Jesus himself recognized and served. Conclusion The dangers of adding to or removing from God’s word are clearly laid out in Scripture. The doctrine of the Trinity, being man-made and unsupported by the Bible, leads people away from the truth. It is essential to reject such teachings and remain firmly grounded in the pure word of God as revealed in the Scriptures.

Both Catholicism and Protestantism have deviated from the truth. The present time is not about "being saved". The present time is about finding and inviting those who desire perfect Justice to become part of the new Christ. The new Christ is made of Jesus as the Head and His believers as "body members". This complete Christ (Anointed) will form the new governing body of planet Earth once the number (Mark 4:11) is complete. Those who pass the tests and are found worthy to be vested with Christ's divine nature will return once the number is complete (second coming) and they will implement on Earth: God's Kingdom. That will be the time when those who didn't consecrate to the present "heavenly calling" (Heb 3:1) will be resurrected and called to accept Christ's laws and obey them. Those who will accept will be saved and will not go into "second death".

Much love to my Catholic brothers and sisters. But we have to pay attention to scripture. “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23 ESV God is the only one without sin. “And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my SAVIOR,” Luke 1:46-47 ESV Why does Mary need a savior if she was perfect? “As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”” Luke 11:27-28 ESV Mary has my respect and reverence and was hugely important for the gospel. But she wasn’t perfect. She was humble. And accepted Jesus as the Savior for her sins.

I have had people bring up Acts 6 as well when it says that Stephen was "full of grace". The problem is that, this is not what it says in the Greek. It says "pietho", which is where we get "pistos" from or "faith". It says that Stephen was full of faith/certainty. No words even close to "grace" in the Greek. It speaks volumes about Protestant scholars to translate Acts 6 as "full of grace" and then change the accepted translation in Luke 1:28 to "favored one".

You speak of pride as a reason that people fail to convert, or the fear of social and material consequences. You have on your thumbnail people like Jordan Peterson and Douglas Murray, neither of whom have reason to fear material and social losses. I don’t understand your point and had clicked on this video hoping for a poignant message I hadn’t heard before about the difficulty in bringing in people like them, as my own qualms have nothing to do with a social worry or anything like that either. Instead we got a very simple statement that people don’t like to do costly things, which is true but also self evident and not relevant to the figures shown in the thumbnail, instead being relevant to many average people in a way that has been discussed a thousand times already and was simple to understand the first time
