Likely it is way out of adjustment then. Try lifting or pulling down as you actuate the latch. Or maybe loosen the door bolts that hold the hinges and latch to release where it is binding. Then adjust.

No one should be allowed to own such weapons. If the playing field was not so inequitable perhaps, there'd be less of a threat. Businesses exist to make money. When legislation makes it cheaper to buy tools to do the job, then businesses buy tools in stead of paying more wage hours. Nothing new here. Why do you think we don't have elevator operators any more? Because they were replaced with electronic controls that let elevator riders self-serve. Are you suggesting that it is somehow wrong that humans are no longer tasked with the mindless job of pushing elevator buttons? How about phone operators? Traffic directors? Milkment? Those are standard fiberglass X doors with albative armor on the outside. So, they latch about like a civilian car door.

Lots of people like upgraded seats with headrests to prevent whiplash. :) I'll have to look up Rubicon doors. I don't know how they are.
