"you'll probably never have to do this by hand" Sir, I have only had to do them by hand. Thank you so much for saving my life by going through the steps anyway.

FB is still censoring. I'm banned for 180 days for what I have no idea. They don't allow you the know what they considered needing censoring. I posted nothing bad. I repost facts about Trump or Kamala.

If we already know the population mean, then why even do all this? I don't get it. Why even take a sample from a population whose characteristics are already known?

Hello, I'm a 4th year medical student from Bangladesh. I was interested in learning R because of my interest in doing clinical research in the future. At first, I learned some basics from Thenewboston's R programming tutorials. Then I started going through your channel & your videos are damn cool got to say.

Excellent instructor. I would really like to get a certificate to show I did this course. You should team up or sell this series to a college -- add quizzes and a final exam. I would gladly pay up for a certificate.

Hi Mike, been watching since your first video on this course, I was wondering why didn't you get the mean first before calculating squared deviations? Just a question, I love your videos and I'm going to finished these videos btw. Thank you IN ADVANCE

At 9:45 i understand that x_4 is determined by everything else and the degree of freedom is three, but i dont understand why we still wouldnt use all four to determine the spread. Why is this. This would suggest that for the case of two numbers we wouldnt divide the sum of the squares by two but by one which seems very unintuitive if we are getting the sd of two values.
