At the 3:42 mark, you said Peter, but it’s actually 1st Timothy. The point that he’s making about the Hebrew text is irrelevant when the authoritative text was the LXX, not the masoretic (with the added accent and vowel markings) that came like 13 centuries later. Also, when he’s speaking about a translation and syntax and transmission, also irrelevant because it wasn’t a “written text” that was passed down in the early church per se, but the whole deposit of the faith. Paul’s letters before they were canonical had no bearing on the tradition that was already laid down. Good point on your part, irrelevant point in his. Also, Catholic “priest” didn’t translate the Hebrew text into Greek. Catholics didn’t exist yet.

But consider this: God, in His wisdom, preserved key doctrines and principles through His prophets and scriptures, and in the last days, He restored even more of that knowledge. That’s why we cherish the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants, which further clarify and testify of Christ’s teachings (2 Nephi 29:11-14). 🙏✨ This restoration shows that God's plan is perfect, even if human hands sometimes misplace things. This foolish creator argument you’re making excludes the father. Col 1:15 preeminent or firstborn, Jesus is ‘of creation’ The objection to ‘other’ is a nonsense. Jesus obviously didn’t create himself or his father. The interlinear point just demonstrates ignorance of translation. There are 30% more English words than original Greek words in all English translations. Why did they insert the extra words?

You stated an issue with JW's is they typically do in material or discussions is simply give a verse. Well if that's all that's need to support the point being made why would anyone need to read the whole chapter. Consider the fact you read Isaiah 42:1-10 for context and by doing so, did you prove anything contrary to their answer of their question "What is God's name" *No you did not* Therefore, your assertion is unfounded. You equate the removal of name for Lord on the same level as inserting the name where it is and highly likely should be!!! Although I'll give little credit to the KJB because I believe it is there 4 times. The hypocrisy of using Lord as a substitute for Jehovah and when Lord is used in the Greek text then want to decry Lord is *never* used for Jehovah. I wonder, why did you did not compare Psalms 83:18 between NWT and KJB? Claiming Prototokos(firstborn) literally means preeminent is wholly inaccurate. The Koine Greek word for created is "ektisthē" and this is a passive form/ verb of the word. *Meaning someone else was doing the creating through Jesus* and this is further solidified as later in the same verse "dia" (through) is used again in reference to Jesus. Thus, Jesus was the *Intermediate Agent* The scripture does not support your view that Jesus is the Creator and no, Paul was not lying but it's your interpretation of the text. After just over 15 minutes there's no need to watch anymore. Both Jesus and Isaiah tell you Jehovah is not Jesus's name. There is no text stating otherwise. Great video! I spent my entire childhood growing up in this "high control group" aka "cult" . When I reached about 20, I left it. Since then I've researched this religion extensively and it's all a scam. Nice job pointing out some of their obvious corruption.

I got to hit up a stand and get me some of their books. My mom is still in (c. '83) I have a silver "bible" that I have been marking up for the day that I muster up the courage to tell her about the org. But she has a superior attitude towards her kids (because no one listened to her when she was a kid) But I am patient, I don't want to come off too strong and have her shut down before I even start.

The father and l are one means that they work together to achieve the same goal. Seeing the son and seeing the father has been said about many sons and fathers because of their physical or characteristics are identical. Jesus and Jehovah are not one being. Jesus is NOT Almighty God.

Hi. If you read about the Emperor Constantine and the council he got together to hammer out doctrinal issues that should help you. Also the Nicene creed. The Bible states that the Father is greater than the Son. I don't know of anywhere in Jesus teachings where he claimed to be God. Also Jehovah knows the the time of the end. I think Revelation 🤔 and Jesus doesn't. How can they be the same person? The trinity is said to be 3 persons in one, but the holy spirit isn't a person, its God's active force/helper.

Their interlinear now says “firstborn” in the Greek and their “translation”. The Greek word there now is: πρωτότοκος which translates, “firstborn”. They scour the internet for this information and since their publications are all electronic, a simple “update” wipes out everything. Past and present. If their people aren’t searching outside their publications they will never know the truth - or be set free.

@@godtalk9645 they say on the internet that bible scholars know that the Authorized KJV was a corrupted version because it has the spurious text of 1 John 5:7 which when compared to earlier existing Greek manuscripts of the bible is missing which led scholars to believe it was an spurious addition to the text, a forgery. So today many English bibles do not have the wording as found in the KJV and New King James Version of 1 John 5:7 which was about the 3 witness bearers in heaven.

The king James bible was corrupted too...ask bible scholars who are not JWs and they will confirm that its been corrupted especifically at some verses like 1 John 5:7 which diligent bible scholars discovered was spurious or a forgery.

JWs believed Yahweh created Jesus as the Archangel Michael first, then Michael was used as a conduit to create "all 'other' things". It wasn't until Michael came to earth and was born as a human that he was named Yeshua. Or the Greek says 'isus' which means Jesus. You'd be better off concentrating on Paul's isus is not the same guy as Yeshua...now that will prove Paul to be a bit of a 'one' as well. Or look into the fossil record and that creates more problems. If you say the flood deposited the animals everywhere, Where's the human and nephilim fossils? Or maybe the issue of the bible being folklore and has remnants of truth...maybe...maybe?...who knows.
