In the 1984 edition of the New World Translation, the scripture at Colossians 1:16, 17 has brackets around the word “other” all four times. The foreword says that they put brackets around any word that THEY added, to make the meaning of the verse clearer. Then, in the 2013 NWT, they removed the brackets. That is deceptive and dishonest. They did the same thing in Philippians 2:9, where it says “God gave him a name that is above every (other) name...” 1984 edition has brackets there, the brackets were removed in the 2013 edition.

@@Scott23882that’s the point. Neither God the Father nor God the Son were created. They are eternal. The Bible doesn’t say anywhere that God the Father or Jesus were created beings. Before you cite Colossians 1:15 please do a study on the word translated ‘firstborn’ (prototokos) John 1:3 All things came into being through Him (Jesus) and apart from Him (Jesus) not even one thing came into being that has come into being. John 17:5 And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed. John 1:3 is extremely clear and absolute that Jesus created everything that has ever been created. No way around that. The Bible is also clear that Jehovah God does not share His glory. Yet Jesus demands that God glorifies Him with the glory they had TOGETHER before the world existed. So God the Father, being eternal, wasn’t created. Likewise, Jesus (the Word) from John 1:1, was with God the Father in the beginning sharing the same glory. So He wasn’t created (refer back to John 1:3 as well as Colossians 1:16-17. The only logical explanation is that the Father is God and the Son is God. This is what the Bible teaches! I say this in love, but the watchtower doesn’t care about your eternal destiny. JW’s do not serve the same God that’s in the Bible. Regardless how sincere they are. That is a huge problem. I would highly encourage you and any other JW reading this to do some research and really test the teaching and doctrines the watchtower advocates with the Bible.

Just saying.. John 1:3 says: "Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made." The key word is "through him" not "by." Also , "the Word was "WITH" God." There is a difference and Paul explains John 1:1-3 in 1 Cor 8:6 "yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live." So this is saying that the power to create came FROM God, and the word was with God, so God passed His power to Jesus to create everything for God. God could have done it Himself but thats "the Glory God gave him before the world was." God means Authority. Jesus was an Authority with God in heaven, but Jesus wasn't the true Authority, meaning Jesus wasn't The Most High Authority/God. Jesus has his Father above him in Authority. The Father has no one above him in Authority. 1 Cor 15:27 "Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. We have Christ above us in Authority, who we all need to go through to get to the Father. We must follow Christ and his teachings to get back to the Father and gain life. Jesus "grants us to the Right to eat from the tree of life that is in the presence of God /The Father." Rev 2:7 We are to believe Christ is Lord not God The Father. Jesus never claimed that. John 20:17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. They admitted as much at their 2023 Annual Meeting where they said they had dogmatically gone beyond beyond what the bible says regarding reporting of field ministry hours, and also on teachings about the Great Tribulation, and who will be resurrected. They are masterful at selectively quoting things as well to deliberately misrepresent the facts. An example is in the Reasoning book where the cross is discussed. They partially quote the Imperial Bible Dictionary to support Jesus being impaled on a stake but they don't quote the part that says in Jesus' time a crossbeam wss commonly added to the stake. JW org likes to play with words and employs half truths . More great examples of that in the FAQ section on their website.

JWs believed Yahweh created Jesus as the Archangel Michael first, then Michael was used as a conduit to create "all 'other' things". It wasn't until Michael came to earth and was born as a human that he was named Yeshua. Or the Greek says 'isus' which means Jesus. You'd be better off concentrating on Paul's isus is not the same guy as Yeshua...now that will prove Paul to be a bit of a 'one' as well. Because it clearly says ..all things were created through him but also FOR HIM ( Jesus. The word) what the bible really teach concerning to this is. ..that just like Colossians 1:15 and Apocalypse 3:14 says .. Jesus was the first thing the God almighty created. Even before the angels. And therefore...he then helped Jehovah to create all things we see and can't see . In heaven and on earth. Jesus talked about it and metaphors...where was him and what he was doing exactly at that moment when Jehovah was creating everything. .in Proverbs 8:22-30 Jesus called himself by the name" WISDOM" there ...he explained what exactly happened during the creation and why you can say ... Jehovah created all things. But you also can say... Jesus created all things.. because he helped his father in the creation of everything. I mean...the government can build a huge library in your neighborhood. But if the main construction engineer is standing in front of that building and talking to you...why can't he say....hey . read john 1 verse 14 it says jesus was like a son to god, so he cant be god himself. jesus was in the beginning with god because he was God's first created angel and after that jesus participated with God to crate all things. You just dont have every piece to your puzzle. many verses in the bible clearly demonstrate that the word Jesus is God first creation and that jesus is submissived to God so he cant be God himself. it is the kind of false teaching that brought the invention by the catholic church in the 4 th century that created the TRINITY falsehood

Jehovah did create all things. John 1:3 teaches all things came into existence “dia” Jesus. “dia” is defined as “a channel one acts through”. God created. Using Jesus as his channel. “Prototokos” means “firstborn of man or beast”. It DOES NOT mean preeminence. Col 1:15-16 Jesus didn’t create himself. He created all other things. Translation is not a 1:1 word exchange. There are over 3 times as many words in the English Bible as compared to the Greek MSS. Do you think Jesus created himself? Do you even know who and what Jesus was before he came to earth as a man?? Zechariah 12:8 in any Bible you choose, I'm gonna use the NWT Bible, and it says, "In that day the one who is feeble/weak among them will be like David and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD Jehovah that goes before them. Okay so smart guy, Who in the house/line of David is most like God?? All the way from David to Jesus who is most like God? It ain't David and it ain't Salomon or any of the other descendants. No it's Jesus that's most like God. So that means that he's also the Angel of the LORD Jehovah, because of the comma that's right after "Most like God,👈(Comma) like the Angel of Jehovah that goes before them. Again that's Jesus. How can I be soo sure?? Exodus 23:20,21 says "I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you on your way into the place I have prepared, (the Angel that goes before them). Pay attention to him and obey his voice, do not rebel against him for he will not pardon your transgressions because my name is in him. That last little bit gets me every time because what angel has the power to not pardon transgressions?? And it said my name is in him. Do you know what Jesus's name means?? Jesus is said to be first in all things, right?? So why wouldn't he be the first created being?? Check out Proverbs 8:22-31 but I'm only going to give you 30 here, you should still readit all thoug, "then I was beside him as a Masterworker/Mastercraftsman" as some Bible's say. So, what was he Masterworking?? The words "In the beginning" isn't talking about the beginning of time, it's talking about the beginning of creation. Which is why the Bible starts out saying "In the beginning, God created this and God created that, and in Genesis 1:26 he said Let US make man in OUR image. Who is doing the creating here and who is US and OUR image?? It's him telling Jesus what to do and how to do it, that's why John says In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God. See that makes sense because he's there. And im not gonna touch on was "God" or "a God" right now, but ask and I'll tell you my opinion on that subject, besides this comment is turning into a novel. But this is why John 1:3 says "All things were created through him and apart from him, not came into existence. Because he was the first to be created. Because he is first in ALL THINGS. You people wouldn't know the Bible if it slapped you across your face. It's all there you just need to put it together. JW’s are correct that Jesus is not Yahweh and that the trinity is unscriptural. John as the other apostles as well as Jesus were certainly not trinitarians nor did they imply it ever. What JW’s are wrong about imo in my thorough study of all scripture is that Jesus pre existed his human self and that he was an angel. The Messiah had to be a human genetic descendant of David. Not a hybrid. His birth was a miraculous conception and he was by no means just a mere man as he was/is the only to have ever conquered the devil as a human and thus reflected the exact image of Yahweh his God and Father which thus being called the second Adam. Biblical unitarians like Anthony Buzzard are correct. Try debating him. You will learn a lot about linguistics and how they’ve been used to greatly corrupt modern translation of the bible. Especially the NT.

He was always very clear about who his God was and who he himself was. The Messiah, not God. “I am Yahweh, and there is no one else; There is no God except Me.” Is. 45:5 Not 3 God’s in one. One Father and one Son whom his Father begat though a virgin who’s father was from the tribe of Judah. One Messiah who’s “genesis” was in Marys womb, not before which was recorded in Matthew quite clearly. He’s not “God the son” nor is holy spirit a person. Preposterous. No man has ever seen God, nor can God die. To think Jesus is Yahweh is blasphemy and to think God’s holy spirit is a person is a concept strain from the devil himself. 1+1+1 equals 3, never 1. Trinitarians are no different that the Pharisees and Sadducees. They didn’t believe Jesus was the Messiah, and trinitarians don’t believe Jesus’s own words that he wasn’t God so they don’t trust or listen to our Father Yahweh, who said: “This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!” Luke 9:35

Consider the fact you read Isaiah 42:1-10 for context and by doing so, did you prove anything contrary to their answer of their question "What is God's name" *No you did not* Therefore, your assertion is unfounded. You equate the removal of name for Lord on the same level as inserting the name where it is and highly likely should be!!! Although I'll give little credit to the KJB because I believe it is there 4 times. The hypocrisy of using Lord as a substitute for Jehovah and when Lord is used in the Greek text then want to decry Lord is *never* used for Jehovah. I wonder, why did you did not compare Psalms 83:18 between NWT and KJB? Claiming Prototokos(firstborn) literally means preeminent is wholly inaccurate. The Koine Greek word for created is "ektisthē" and this is a passive form/ verb of the word. *Meaning someone else was doing the creating through Jesus* and this is further solidified as later in the same verse "dia" (through) is used again in reference to Jesus. Thus, Jesus was the *Intermediate Agent* The scripture does not support your view that Jesus is the Creator and no, Paul was not lying but it's your interpretation of the text. After just over 15 minutes there's no need to watch anymore. Both Jesus and Isaiah tell you Jehovah is not Jesus's name. There is no text stating otherwise. All bible translations contridict each other to some degree including the latest NIV with the older version of the NIV ? Even the apostle Paul was a Pharisee a bible scholar ? Hebrew was a pictorial and a dramatic language ? Jesus never spoke with out the use of a illustration or parable story ? Although under inspiration Paul wrote many books of the bible in Koine or common Greek ? Old English was a inferior form of the Fresian language ? But the Old King James , underwent many upgrades over the centuries as the English language was changing even in the 21st century ? ? The reason we know Paul was referring to Jesus as the firstborn in the temporal and order sense is because of the Greek syntax. *Every single time* when the Greek word firstborn-πρωτότοκος is followed by a genitive "The firstborn of Ishmael" -Gen 25:13, "His glory is like the firstling of his bullock" Deu 33:17, "for he was the firstborn of Joseph" Joshua 17:1 , etc If you can find "firstborn of" followed by a genitive as it shows in Colossians 1:15 means "preeminence" I would like to take a look at it. You mentioned consistency in your video. In the bible, it's consistent "firstborn of" means existing or being born first, so the conclusion the JWs are correct contextually and grammatically Jesus is the literal firstborn of call creation.

If you are going to use the Bible to justify your position you will 1st have to answer the following historical aspects of said Bible to get the “correct contextual and grammatical” conclusion… History shows us that Jesus didn't leave us a bible, the apostles didn't tell us which books belong in the bible, the church fathers never agreed on the 27 books of the NT through the 4th century, not only did they not agree but their list of would-be NT canons were GROWING during this time. So, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 5th century, just 75 years AFTER the council of Nicaea which began the Trinitarian docrtine, and then with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and preserved these scriptures by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us, show us, who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself? Peace!!!
