For me the creepiest episode was the one where Muriel and Eustace get turned into puppets

I always found the Mask one pretty sinister and actually kind of inappropriate for children due to them all but showing prostitution and lesbianism occuring.

This show was my childhood!! As an adult, nearly in my 30s, this brings me such happiness! A simplier time when horror was scary, but funny at the same time. They just don't make cartoons like they used to anymore. And that makes me sad.

I had a visceral reaction to Ramses, it was on a scooby doo vhs my grandparents had, and we only saw it at their place. Of course, they lived on a farm, so sleeping at night was impossible. I was always worried I was going to see Ramses outside the window late at night. This show was a fever dream.

None of this ever scared me as a child. I found it to be simply interesting and VERY thought provoking imagery

Is it crazy that one scene that scared me was when Eustace was so mad at that Chinese dude for cutting him off that the dudes car blew up? Those closeups of all his veins working overtime had me pressed.

Let’s clarify a few things for the puppet Bagges’, this was suppose to be the final episode for the season, but a couple episodes back there was Shirley, The Medium, capable of inflicting curses and contacting the dead. She would’ve know how to undo the curse to continue to Season 2 like normal.

The more I stared at Ramses the less scary he was, I feel the blue man at the end of the series isn’t all that scary, and the magical tree is one of my favorite characters. I do agree with Courage when seeing that clay jump scare.

#5 didn’t even scare me as a kid I found that comedic as can be. I was laughing so hard it triggered my asthma. What scared me the most was the ghost head, Queen of The Black Puddle gave me nightmares for days and I had to skip bath time at night and shower during the day cause my parents were home. Also Return the Slab….or suffer my curse….yeah that’s a big nope!
