I think people are right to say that the time was too short for the crime-but this is a difficult stance to take because of how young they were and also the influence of their troubling background. It should be commended that they did their time and they became productive members of society. I only learned about this today when I was Google-ing 20th century blessed & saints. I’m surprised this isn’t as well known a case here in the US. I also never heard my priest (or could remember…) give a sermon mentioning this case. Thank you for the informative video!

Thomas's story really broke me as it reminds me the terrible case that happened years ago to a guy that I knew. He was only 18. I think of him all the time and my thoughts go out to him as well.

Loving your perceived enemies is a tremendous step for a human being to take. The Sister Nun did the correct thing in asking forgiveness for the young girls, though few people may be able to understand why this was, indeed, the correct thing to do. ❤

Thanks for your video, I enjoyed it. I did have a giggle when Google incorrectly captioned your narration, claiming that the killer tried to end her own life in the asylum with "bad shits". I didn't hear it that way and was confused to see those words on the screen. I wonder what the Google AI was imagining?

@scipiodriver40768 ай бұрын
What? Examples of black face in the US can be traced back as far as the 1830s. You have to be a special kind to stupid to claim this is a generational thing Edit: and Shane does NOT have plenty of black friends, that’s ridiculous

shit had me laughing all those years ago and still makes me laugh today 🤷♂️ unfortunately not everyone shares the same sense of humor but i'm not gonna pretend to be pissed because dark, edgy humor was super common back then amongst the youth. i was in middle/high school when Shane was still doing skits and pretty much everyone made fucked up jokes around each other and understood it wasn't meant to come off malicious.

“oh but he’s changed he doesn’t do this stuff anymore it was a joke he didn’t know any better🥺” ok doesn’t matter nor does it make any of this ok. like none of this even a joke its just textbook racism and pedophilia. “didnt know any better”? nah, bro was literally a +24 yr old grown adult man when he made all of this he was old enough to know how extremely out of pocket this kind of behavior is. its obvious he knew EXACTLY what he was thinking when making these and still made them anyway
