I think battery shops register. Your dealer is extra bad $$$. Don't think you're supposed to run a battery parallel to 1st, don't know why

I have that same exact refrigerator and it gets abused with 4 adults 2 kids in and out of it for the past 4 years. It still looks like new. No damage at all.

If this is a one-off, I'm going to wager that a particular chemical cleaner used to clean it comprimised the plastic. I"ve seen this hundreds of time. Spray-Nine will severly degrade anything plastic. I've seen it destroy plastic chromed sink taps, electronics, dashes in vehicles etc.

My refrigerator is real close to this one. It's about the same age but it is now 4 yrs later, so mine is now 7 yrs old and my fridge doesn't have a single Crack or break and we regularly (daily) have a 24 pack of soda on that same shelf he is showing with the brace down the middle that the drawers hang from. It looks like they took all of the shelves out to move it and somewhere along the way something heavy fell over on them and he's trying to have GE pay for his mess up.

what is the brand of the battery and where did you purchase it?
@mikec5992Ай бұрын
Did you try sitting in it to cool down? I have NEVER seen this happen, even in the cheapest refrigerators. Sorry, but I don't believe the shelves broke with normal use. Don't hit with a sledge hammer. :)

Hard to believe this review. That came from slamming drawers with a bunch of food/heavy products inside. Replacing a GE Profile I had for 15 years, with no problem except didn't replace filter like I should have and the icemaker is wonky and I no longer trust the water coming from it. Getting a new GE Profile.

Thanks for the review. I was going to buy one. Now it's a no, go! My favorite was Kenmore. Now I see people are saying Kenmore is not like it used to be. So no Kenmore for me either.

Don't let this review turn you off GE. My GE fridge is really close to the one in the video (his is actually a little fancier Than mine) I've had it for 7 yrs and none of my plastic looks anything like that one. I don't have a single Crack let alone breaks.

My brother is in specialist interior engineer for Tesla and we’re looking at your video now believe it or not something happened to it that may not have happened to a regular use. He works with plastics every day. This is impossible to break like this. Specially, especially to shatter are you sure somebody’s not mad at you and hit it with a hammer or other instrument this is not normal. I have a GE refrigerator bought in about the same time and it looks nothing like this. It still works great. I might have a few scratches here and there for food containers but nothing like this. This is crazy. PS there’s a difference between breaking and shattering when engineers look at plastic to use an automobiles. They have to be very careful on the plastics they use on the interior they cannot use plastics at shatter in case of an accident. I’ll tell you this. I am an attorney myself. I’m retired now. I’ve had many consumer complaints if a manufacturer feels like they’re being blackmailed or being trashed on the Internet their legal department will tell them to ignore it. They will never settle with you if you never posted a video and done this in privacy they would’ve probably giving you 50% credit or prorated you a brand new refrigerator Just my 2 cents
@ruger604916 күн бұрын
Some chemical cleaners will make the plastic so brittle it just breals apart like it is disintegrating. Spray does this. It is no longer allowed on some industrial properties because it ruins electronics, dashboards, guages housings etc.

Samsung is terrible. It need new Compressor in 6years. They asked $1,500. Cuz I don’t have receipt . If I kept the receipt with paying $750 . Most of samsung refrigerators are not working in 6 years .

not registering the battery saves money in the short term, but it will kill the $180 battery a lot quicker since car is thinking battery is old, charge it more aggressive.

Getting a simple tool to register the battery replacement, or have someone do it for you aftwerwards is much easier. Your new battery will last longer too. And there are terminals in the back that can be used to keep the 12v when you replace the battery

Ridiculous amount of damage, but one thing I noticed is the "reservoir" for the water dispenser is just a long coil of tubing zip-tied together lol. Holy hell, that's cheap.

Thanks for your review as was considering a GE French Door, but thought the inside looked cheap at the models on floor at Home Depot. Currently have a Kenmore Elite that is over 20 years old and just had to recently replace the evaporator fan motor. Don't know what to get as know Samsung is junk and LG has problems as both companies have lawsuits against them. Your short video is a disaster for a product only 3 years old and sad that the manufacturer will not do anything. Your effort is greatly appreciated to help other people from being taken advantage of.

I recently changed battery on a 1 series. The issue is that there are a lot more 12V battery variants around now (AGM, flooded, Lithium) also the car tries to maximise battery life by varying charge parameters as the battery ages. If you swap batteries without telling the car's systems there is a risk that it will treat it the same way as the dying battery and may overcharge or otherwise shorten the life of the replacement. I used the Carly app to reset battery parameters.

My GE refrigerator has been breaking bit by bit on the front of crisper plater where the humidity knobs area, I’d say it started about 4 years after it was purchased and it freezes towards the back. It’s about 12 years old so no parts available. I’m using epoxy glue to keep it together. Thank you for posting this, I’ll never recommend this brand to anyone.
