Thank you so much for posting this video❤️ it made me feel a lot better. I don’t have Bell’s palsy, but I recently went through a traumatic accident, which has left me with half of my face paralyzed, a broken cheekbone and severely swollen/bruised face. I’m a 21 year old female, and I’ve been feeling extremely emotional and self conscious about it, but seeing you and other peoples recovery gives me some hope.

Hey Sara... I stumbled upon your channel because you commented on one of the two Fugazi covers you've made with your band. Congrats to that performances, both were awesome, I just commented over there too before I saw your channel. What I wanted to say after I watched this video: I've suffered from the same paralysis as you in my 20ies. Out of nothing half of my face was paralyzed and nobody could answer from where this came. The doc said it could have been a side effect from an old infection which I had few weeks before that. All went back to normal with muscle and nerve training over the next 6 months, but one mini single nerve didn't recover at all. No one sees it but me only, because I know my face, obviously 😂 I don't know how you are now, hope you recovered from this and feel better, but I just want to leave you some positive vibes here - it gets better over time. Best wishes from Germany! And now one can see that music always connects people, even if it's just a coincidence. Stay safe and I hope you are doing more music as you did with your mates!

HI! I have had Bell's Palsy for almost 4 months now. It's a lot better than it was but I still have a ways to go. My eyes is the biggest problem. How long did it take your eye to start blinking again? My BP is on my right side. My lower lip is still paralyzed so I have trouble drinking out of a glass unless I use a straw. Thanks for sharing. You look great! I hope my recovery is as good as yours.

Chrissy Foley i cant be certain but it definitely took a good while...perhaps 6-8 months? everyone’s different. doing facial exercises the doctor provided probably helped speed up the process. good luck w everything!

Stephanie F glad you liked it :) honestly just be yourself. there truly is a sorority for everyone & the process really works. don’t try and force connections / force a personality that isn’t you bc it won’t land you in a group you feel that you can have fun & be confident & yourself in! good luck girl i hope it goes well for you!!!

Remember to be open to constructive criticism with you’re music by 1st only sharing it with you’re friends and listen to what they’ve got to say, pls don’t take negativity to heart ab the music but do ask a fare amount of ppl ab what kind of music they’d listen and kind of blend of that together so you can create a following.
