I followed along but noticed theirs no backlight. How do we make that subtle backlight as shown at the finale of the video?

bro can you tell me ,how should i render in panaromic camera because every time my blender in crashing and the file size is very heavy
@cgslav4 күн бұрын
I don`t think this is a problem with the panoramic camera. If your blender crashes during the rendering process, there maybe some problems in the scene and you need to optimize that before rendering...

@cgslav5 күн бұрын
Depends on what you wanna do)) for some projects it is possible to use even 16 Gb but for some 64 not enough. Everything depends on your projects and goals.

How long did it actually take to complete without speeding up?
@cgslav10 күн бұрын
For the video, I usually have a sketch or draft render and make a video following this stuff around the evening or two. Sometimes I do something fast by one day, just for the tutorial. But in general, if we look at the whole process, from the idea to the final art I can spend days or weeks, sometimes years. I still have sketches for upcoming art and videos from the last decade.

Can you recommend any books or text-based resources on how to learn this?
@cgslav23 күн бұрын
I don't know, I don't have something like that
@36SOAD22 күн бұрын
@ but how did you learn it?
@cgslav22 күн бұрын
I started learning by reading the 3ds max book more than 16 years ago. At that time we didn`t have a lot of tutorials or courses on this topic, but even before that, I had already studied drawing and painting for a long time before digital. So, something like this, how I learned that)

And how do you get the appearance of fogs in the background? Is it meatballs to mesh and volume oder some other trick ? :)
@cgslav25 күн бұрын
It`s a combination of Volume and background sky) You may watch the full video on my channel, I pin the link in this video to the full (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmGpknZnpq-mh68si=2Ftei6TciF_j4HsD 4:36 - volume and 6:59 - background sky)

Hi, how is the top (the rocks) so perfectly illuminates and gets a depth to it, while the rest is unaffected. Greetings Syriss

Spotlight. I just placed this light that highlights only the top part and since the main object has an oval shape it brings such a light effect. This is also in more detail in the full video on 6:16

great video! just a question how do u subdivid the cube and it stays on same shape ? mine turn into a sphere, am i missing somthing ? am new to blender
@cgslav27 күн бұрын
This cube had already been subdivided before I used the Subdivision Modifier here - 00:49. In edit mode just press the right mouse and find Subdivide. Use it a couple of times to get more density mesh and then use the Subdivision Modifier.
