Hey neffertity! I wanted to ask how did you sew fingers into ampwave paws? I am doing a full partial of my ampwave and i have no idea how to sew those vertical fingies into the fluffy base and fit my fingers into them. Looking forward for your response!

They didn't have fingers. Just a large open disc in the palm to allow the hand to open and close

Question- you said that the costumer provided you with the duct tape dummy; did they give measurements and you made it? Did they make it and send it to you? If so, how exactly did they do that? I feel it'd be difficult to ship a box that big, unless it's in pieces, but then that could mess up the measurements. Or did they just hand it to you in person? Im just a lil curious and confused on how you got the dummy from them yknow?

They made it and sent it to me while it was hollow and flat. Then I stuffed it with newspaper, foam bits, and whatever other clutter stuffing I had laying around.

Is it possible to make a tails like this, but not entirely out of foam? I wanna make a tail I can pose but also works with gravity when I walk :) I was thinking of just using foam for the base of the tail?

late to the party but have you thought about using a heavy interfacing on parts like the silts for the wings, it'll reinforce the opening and shouldn't cause the same issue that hot glue does

15:26 I'm glad I didn't throw my tail pattern away because I had a stars on each side of his tail, and later used the same size star on his chest, which is great so I don't have to print it out again. And, his tail is 2 different colors (green on one side blue on the other) and I accidentally made the green facing the same way as the blue, so I had to redo it, and keeping the pattern helped me a lot
