Purchase the pattern for these handpaws here:
www.artbyneffertity.com/store...
I've worked really hard to bring this tutorial to light, and I'm really happy with the end result of the pattern. I intend to rework how my Patreon rewards are, as well as how often I'm uploading new content for you all.
Hopefully I can properly dedicate time to this channel to continue my growth.
Thank you all so much for all the support you've given me over these years.

💜💜💜 Just a heartfelt comment to get lost in the background. I absolutely love and admire what you do. Ive been learing the art myself. Your examples, turtorials, and creations have been a true inspiration. You should be so proud being able to achieve turning what you love to do into a living! I can very much understand the difficulties and struggles that both external and internal influences can have on your wellbeing, as I also fight those seemingly unending battles almost every day. Having others to talk to has been one of my biggest saving graces, as they let me decompress, divert, and sometimes even forget those frustrations in life that just dont seem to want to go away. Having those people to be able to lean on is essential, and I truly hope you have those kinds of people in your life. And if you don't, then I genuinely offer a friendly ear to listen without judgement, and with compassion and understanding (even if its only to vent, sometimes a stranger's ear can do more to obtain peace of mind than the person closest to you) My own work has been slow and troubled by life's influences, but it's talented creators like you that help keep the passion for it burning bright. I have so much I want to try, like 3D modeling, original pattern creations, videos, and even animatronics! But with only a couple of pieces created so far, I am fully aware of how far I have yet to go. And you help inspire all that! I hope you feel proud of everything you have achieved (which is a monumental amount!) and know that your unique content is truly unique to you. It's "Neffertity Style" and I love it 💜

This comment was such a beautiful thing to read this morning when I woke up. 💜 Inspiring others and sharing my passion is what I love to do. I know when I was growing up, no one really showed an interest in my work aside from my sister. So I know what it's like to feel like no one out there supports you. But the internet had helped me connect with people who genuinely love what I do. People like you. And I'll always take the time to acknowledge these people, and truly show them how much their support means to me. I know a lot of KZbinrs claim they read their comments, but never take the time to reply to them. That's something I will always do differently. I read every comment. So thank you for taking the time to say this. 💜 It means more to me than you know.

As a long time viewer I really appreciate the honesty and vulnerability from this video. We all struggle sometimes and often overthink our artistic endevours. Frequently putting more thought into how others *might* perceive it instead of doing what comes naturally and letting yourself flow. I look forward to more tutorials coming soon and some longer ones in the future. 💜

Same, honestly! I love it when tutorials keep in their missteps and challenges. No creative endeavor is going to go 100% perfect, and by keeping in their mistakes it helps you both A) prepare for and learn from their own mistakes and B) not feel pressured or upset if things go wrong.

💜Never had an interest in making a fursuit before. Currently sitting here trying to convince myself I dont need to make a set of paws. with the sewing skills I don't have. I think the most important thing though: Be happy. Make videos that make you happy. Making your audience happy is also important, but focus on YOU first.

💜 My suit got so old (16 years) I wear it less and less to prevent it falling apart, but long term it would be a loosing battle without replacing worn out parts. I very much like to see how I can fix single parts to extend its life. I find it very cool that you give so many explanations why things are done this or that way, which glue to take, sawing styles explained, what this black sewn around wrist-cuffs are for, where you can get around doing things the easy way (cut holes for claws) and where you would compromise the result doing so. Will also help me to blend in a bit better with so many great suits around nowadays compared to when my fursuit was created (still I die for that look of it). There is no time-limit for such excellent tutorial and I find the idea to sell patterns great - certainly would not try to do it from scratch.

I'm a little late, but wanted to give a piece of advice for saving time. I don't remember where I saw it, but there is a technique for tying off a needle quicker that I've been using for a while. Basically take the end of the threads and line then up with the needle in the opposite direction, making a giant loop. The ends should be reach slightly farther than the end of the needle. Grab it at the base of the needle, holding the ends in place, and wrap the thread around the needle. I use six loops for ladder stitches and eight for blanket stitches, any more and the knot starts to gain length rather than width. Then pull your loops downward so that you can grab them with the fingers still holding the ends. With your nails or finger tips at the top loop and the rest of your fingers still holding the rest of the loop, carefully pull down the length of the thread. This creates a thick knot within seconds. It can be a bit tricky at first to get used to the movements and how tight or loose to hold so the loops go over the needle end, but it's an extreme time savior. Hope this helps anyone that reads it!

You said Gutterman right I believe. I sew with a lot of little old grandmas and they all say it that way. It's a great thread brand for both machine and hand sewing. I've been able to use it for all seams, regardless of how much weight or tension it has. I also will double up on certain seams though such as the base of a heavy tail, armpit seam, hems, or button holes. It may seem pricey but one of the things I had to learn the hard way, and under the sweet scorn of those old ladies, is that if you buy cheap materials, your project will be just as cheap. So many people buy the cheapest they can, which is understandable, but it really harms the end result and many walk away thinking they are to blame. Many times I would use the cheap fuzzy thread and while my sewing was great, it ended up popping anyways. A good way to test thread is too pull a little bit off the spool and yank on it quickly. If it doesn't pop, move on to slowly pulling until it snaps. The longer/more force it takes, obviously the better the thread. Also, make sure you're using the same materials as the fabric. poly fabric with poly thread, cotton fabric with cotton thread, and so forth. (I just do natural fabrics with natural thread, poly with poly) to prevent threads from shrinking or not shrinking with the fabric.

Absolutely sound advice! I. Glad I pronounced it right. I had looked up several pronunciations of it, and some had strong emphasis on the "ü" sound. Older sewing wizards are such wonderful people when it comes to advice. One of the local ladies i talk to is adamant about using only Viking brand sewing machines, and for good reason. The build quality of them is unmatched among anything I've ever seen. Definitely a future life goal to save up for one.
