I am very new to Ultrasound school, so looking at the images is like learning Chinese. I like the way you explained it. I do have a question. How many images are approximately taken in the Abdomen complete protocol?

I’ve been looking about getting into ultrasound. I got myself a bachelors degree but I haven’t found any good work so I’m looking into the medical field now. I talk to a couple of my friends for nurses and went to two classes to see how they are first, but I’m still Indecisive because I have a lot of my female nurse friends telling me. It’s not worth it. It’s too hard. don’t waste your time, but then I hear it’s a good career to get into. I just wonder for some feedback.

This is one of if not the BEST videos I’ve seen for neonatal head. Very straight to the point and covering all of the important topics. Your enthusiasm for the subject is contagious and I hope to meet you one day! You are a great example of a great sonographer

one of the few sites that still shows our radiologists everything had the radiologist calling the doctors on our behalf to call them out. Radiologist said " you are not work monkeys scanning for the sake of scanning" or something like that. Enjoyed the mutual respect.

I want to point out in terms of career advancement it's either management, or go back and become a registered nurse and continue that path. Sadly there is no career advancement opportunities. I've been doing it for 3 years. Doing all that i can every day. I already feel like i have hit the ceiling and there is no where else for me to go since i don't wanna do management like you. I'm a male and looking into some of the trades to completely switch fields their career advancements tend to be as high as they want until they work for themselves where all we get are pop up baby scanning clinics as an option.

So I never could understand which end is proximal or distal . But as far as I’m understanding while watching your video. Proximal is from the bottom of your neck and as you move up it because distal ?? Why is that ?

Heres what I say: "Usually i really i enjoy talking to my patients but this exam is too close to your neck to let you today unfortunately." In which they usually say "Thats ok ill just nap" And then i say: "As long as you don't snore!"
