Some great features on this barrow just hope it's not to expensive plus can you get the bags with barrow when ordering or do we buy them separately after barrow is bought?, looks awesome and will be looking out for new electric barrow or get my big barrow rewired as mine got pulled out on last time I used it.

Why dont you just make it so you press the button and it releases??? It's ridiculous!! Absolute wast of money garbage!!
@lespaul37173 ай бұрын
I have just gone to buy one of these second hand, I could have got it for £100... I drove 40 miles to pick it up as I needed a quick release to take my net off and safely lift a carp in... If anyone is watching this and thinks the same as I did, "You press the button and the arms release"... DO THEY F**!!!! I am fuming I drove all that way for nothing. The guy was trying to demonstrate it, and he was a big lad, and was having to put loads of pressure on to release it... What a total waste, and the biggest load of cr@p EVER!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RUBBISH!! It is NOT quick release, unless you have the strength of the HuLK!!! I swear, I could og hit the button with a hammer and it probably would not have budge!! I would not even give £50 for one... There's a REAL review!!!

The sp c-tech original is great, however a couple of things I would have liked to be ‘improved’ are not in this newer version 1. Get rid of the built in pillow section on the padding and make the padding the same as on the sides, then where your head lays would actually be completely flat, currently i have to slide down the bed to get this 2. Make the legs a bit shorter this would allow better visibility out of the shelter when sitting on the bed 3. Make the paint more resilient to scratches, you can see the marks on Dave’s version here and all the one’s I looked at in the shop before purchasing were the same! Otherwise, useful upgrades but, for me, not enough to upgrade from the mk1 Further, built in spirit levels would have been a nice addition to get the bed easily level but I can see why Solar didn’t do this as other brands did it first and it wouldn’t have saved weight. 14.7kg with a 5 season bag is competitive and shaves 2.3kg off the original version Looking at the dimensions the standard now appears to be 5cms longer and 10cms wider but given this isn’t mentioned in the video perhaps the measurements were wrong before, will check mine

Still pretty heavy though. I don't think you'll ever get a lightweight bed system. But if you buy a separate bed and sleeping bag you can get lighter.

@@andrewtate8303 I have got a bed system for doing long sessions, 4/5 nights.. it's weighs 15.6kg! I hardly ever use it, normally stick with my lightweight avid bed chair with a separate sleeping bag.

It is pretty good for a 5 season sleep system. Have a look at other brands which are much heavier.
@ApexCypher_3 ай бұрын
@@stephenfeaver7622 The other brands are not advertising them as ‘lightweight’ though. The old JRC X-Lite 3 leg bedchair was 6.7kg and a good 5 season sleeping bag is under 1kg. Therefore, to call something lightweight it’s got to be under 8kg.
@zebedeevlogs32Ай бұрын
I'm using the JRC and decent bag...yes weighs about 9kg all in...feels like I been run over after a night on it...its going!

Really enjoyed listening to this. I loved the bit where he showed his rods set up and his back rests was 3 sticks. I really wish we fished in a less tackle tart era. We all take it to seriously now with the tackle we think we need. This man caught Mary on the most basic set up sleeping under the stars with no camo sleeping bag in sight.
