Amazing how you basically keep the EXACT same posture for almost half an hour. I'm a veteran rifle shooter (ISSF big bore, small bore and air rifle), so I know a little bit what our sport is all about. But this is next level perfection. Trust me, watching paint dry is a hell of a lot less interesting than watching you shoot brother. Respect!

Thank you. I'm not even that great a kneeling shooter. It has always been the most challenging position for me. I am back to shooting now and I have also taken up 300 meter Free and Standard rifle.

@jobervelasco86142 жыл бұрын
@@cliffcox7643 the Match 54 action still uses a very long bolt and the loading port is very far forward. It makes it very hard to load in prone especially for people with short arms that need to lift their arm and reach forward to load a round. One of the Team Canada shooters I know couldn't physically reach the chamber in prone and had to toss rounds in the loading port. The KK500 has a shorter bolt with the loading port moved to the rear. The loading port is directly over the trigger. This enables a user to load the rifle (especially in the prone position) without having to remove their elbow from the ground and reaching forward to insert a round in the chamber. This had proven to be especially advantageous to everyone. It is a feature on the KK500, the Grunigs, the Bleikers, and the new Feinwerkbau smallbore rifle.

interesting opinion of the anshutzs, as one would infer, from the olymipc rifles, that this design is intended to be grabbed, or contacted at the fore end by the wood pilar on the base, which is height adjustable, as well as pitch and roll, moving your hand well and truly away from the barrel of the gun. ( at least for the standing and kneeling competitions, as you see in the footage of them).

How SCATT detect the movement of trigger shot?
@jobervelasco86142 жыл бұрын
A built in microphone in the sensor listens for the sound the rifle makes when you depress the trigger. Whether it is smallbore or air rifle the rifle will make a clicking sound when you dry fire.

Garth Hogarth 3 weeks ago Hi Jober: Have you or could you do a review on the KK500E, I am interested in the functionality of the Electronic trigger, how it is charged, how long the charge will last and if your aware of any issues with this trigger mechanism. Is it different to the mechanical trigger mechanism? I am looking at purchasing a new rifle and like the look of the KK500, I have heard stories of trigger issues with the mechanical version. Interested in your take on the 'E' version. Cheers

@jobervelasco86143 жыл бұрын
Did you replace a firing pin? When the bolt is un-cocked the tip of the firing pin should protrude a small amount through the firing pin hole in the bolt. If this is not occuring there may be something blocking it or the firing pin is not made to the proper dimensions.

Hi Jober: Why do Walther offer the KK500 in a 650 and 690mm barrel? Why would you purchase this in a 650mm configuration over a 690mm configuration?
@jobervelasco86143 жыл бұрын
The 650mm barrel is available in a smaller diameter so this version of the KK500 is lighter and has better balance suited to those who may be smaller in size.
