Are the 32 inch Aztecs on sale rn? Been trying to save to get a set and seems like the price dropped some it’s 179.99 per tire. Just wondering if that was like a limited time price or if that’s the price they are staying at just don’t wanna miss out on it if it limited. If so wanna know how long that price is staying.

I got a camo 2025 xmr 700 yesterday . They had to bleed my breaks before I left . But , That thing is so smooth , comfortable and it has plenty of power for a 700 . The gearing/clutching is very nice. It’s nothing to touch the throttle and crawl.

My guess is the idle afr, my Grizzly used to stall all the time just letting of the throttle when I had the idle set too rich in the fuel controller, I’d imagine you get the same result if it’s too lean, these things probably run lean for emissions compliance.

Sealing everything and connectors is nothing new on a brand new machine if you want to go into water with it, I did that on my 2015 xmr when it was new. Especially the air intakes, things built in mexico are not always of the best...quality... Also buying the 1st year release of anything, things like this can happen, thanks for being the guinea pig for the rest of us.

My 24 Polaris 850 highlighter has been a great bike to me so far. I do have a silly question for you. One of my exhaust nipples had some dried mud on the inside of the nipple. Other nipple was clean of dirt or mud. Just wondering what this is from. Never sunk the bike or had it shut off under water or mud so I’m curious on how it’s dried up in there?

Is there any point in even buying the 1000 over the 850? It’s the same motor and with a tune and clutch weights isn’t it really the same machine ? (Yes I know if you do this it will cost as much as a 1000, but I’d tune the 1000 anyways).

Im interested to see how the new Gen 3 does on heat. Ran into a family out at RR this weekend with 2 850s and a 1000 XMR, all Gen 3. 850s were fine but 1000 was overheating constantly. Had coolant and clean radiator. No clue what might have cause it, not my bike so I didn’t investigate

My brain would always make me phantom squeeze the right bar and grab a handful of air in critical moments when riding a can am. Its honestly the reason i bought a Honda. not to mention i too like to enjoy an ice cold "water bottle" while riding. Good mod mudpup. I may actually consider buying a can am now.

@MudPuppyOffroad4 күн бұрын
It depends on the condition of your clutches. Personally I don't mess with the spring on a p5 because it shifts weird. On my p5 I just installed new clutches and new OEM springs

@MudPuppyOffroad I've already have 4" 30% portals on 31"tires on it I've been running for a couple of years. I'm wanting to move up to a 33" or 35" tire and wanting to keep it reliable.
@MudPuppyOffroad4 күн бұрын
@@jonathanmatthews1212 If you have portals, your stock springs and clutches will be fine unless you go to like a 38 or something crazy
@jonathanmatthews12124 күн бұрын
@MudPuppyOffroad I also solved the bad tie rod angle with forward a arms. I run 2.5 forward arms. I ordered a extra set of tie rod brackets for my portals from super atv. And cut them in half and welded them to the brackets bolted onto the portals. If you keep the left matched to the left and the right matched to the right. It pushes the toe rod back 1.25 inches. If you mismatch and swap from left to right and vise versa you gain 1.5 inches back.

And 28s on a stock 300 is pretty widely accepted as being the limit if what's ok to do. But you guys have some super thick peanut butter I guess. I had 27s on mine and that was fine but felt like the limit. They also weren't large paddles they were more of an all terrain like a mudlight 2. And it just got stuck anywhere deep.

You need to seal the outlet of the cvt and let the pressure gauge reach 1. Cause when you go undated water with that thing it’s gonna build pressure agains those seals. Or don’t lol. Good video
@MudPuppyOffroad7 күн бұрын
I had a rag stuffed in the outlet previously but it was already removed by the time I started filming. I agree with you to an extent on the belt exhaust. But Can-Am has two Large holes in the top of the loop to relieve that pressure. That's kind of the problem with smoke testing is that it inherently has to pressurize the volume with smoke. Under normal operation, the intake tracks are going to be experiencing a vacuum and once you're under water there's even a greater pressure differential.
@Mararb87 күн бұрын
@@MudPuppyOffroad I say this because I had a leak on my 850 snorkels and if didn’t plug the outlet and just let the air out the leak wouldn’t show. As soon that I plugged the outlet and it built 1 pound of pressure it started to show. And yeah bro I know the pressure underwater is on the outside of the snorkel 🤣 but there ain’t no way to test that with the smoke machine

That fan blade on the Polaris must be a pretty common issue. My father’s 2020 HL 850 has had it happen with the stock fan, had blades break off the stock fan, and had blades break off cheap replacement fans. It’s so bad that we keep a spare pair of cheap fans at the truck on a ride. Otherwise it’s been a good machine though

Damn so I’m wondering if I’ll be able to slip on some 32 nators and have it stay in peak power range since you’re saying the low range is pretty short and runs out fast, but it being the 850 that’s probly the reasoning.. I’m wondering if i add the 850 weights to a 1000 with 32 nators if it’ll be better.. we’ll see i guess
@MudPuppyOffroad7 күн бұрын
The new clutching on these machines is very impressive. However, I always recommend clutch tuning if you're going to run a tire that heavy and aggressive
