Hi Dr Aman. What about scope to any Non clinical subjects like Anatomy and physiology?
@UKDreamers19 сағат бұрын
@drpravinbharati3 there are no pre Clinical posts as such as there are teaching fellow jobs who teach the medical students. These posts are mostly taken by fresh graduates who've studied in UK.

Is it possible for a MBBS graduate to proceed for CESR pathway after getting GMC registration?
@UKDreamersАй бұрын
Unless one has dedicated many years to one particular speciality, had completed membership of Royal College eg MRCP / MRCEM / MRCS etc, it won't be possible to find a cesr post.

PLAB or FMGE? It wasn't easy, lots of hard work. Find a study partner - doesn't need to be a friend of yours. Best wishes.

Hi , I’m currently working in A&E with only ER Background planning to switch to medicine . I only have evidences which are ER related in rcem . So when you filled the IMT Application while providing evidence , which site you used for maintaining your portfolio ? and what types of cases you mentioned
@UKDreamersАй бұрын
I used EM portfolio, it's used to bw NHS eportfolio then instead of Kaizen. Use all emergency scenarios, DKA, Paracetamol OD, Sepsis, Frailty, Seizures etc.

Hi sir, i am doing my mbbs abroad, and now i am in my final, do you think doing elective " in uk", will give me a bonus point or boost my c.v despite of the cost. please share your thoughts, musch appreciated
@UKDreamersАй бұрын
Hi, what's your ultimate goal - it will be the deciding factor. You don't need an elective in UK as a mandatory requirement.

@@UKDreamers first of I would like to thank you for taking your precious time and reply to me. Well UK is my permanent residency as I have been living here. My Degree is from Ukraine, I studied for 3.5 offline and since the war begins I have been studying online and now I am in my final year. My goal is to stay here and work, what are the main step to follow in order to boost my portfolio. Regards

@mazullahmassi8387 in that case please do an attachment. I studied in Ukraine as well. Best wishes.

@UKDreamers2 ай бұрын
@GoluMeena-s6l best would be definitely after FRCR. If you can get a consultant post in India then apply for UK, you can apply for a consultant post directly in UK.

Congratulations on your successful MTI application. Much blessings. Is it compulsory to give the MRCS exam before applying?. Again, can one apply while one is still preparing for the IELTS? I need the website through which you sent your application. I would appreciate it if you could kindly send me your email address in order to discuss further with you. Thank you once again.

Let me real with all of you, for 9 out of 10 of us listening to this, none of this advise is going to help. I have 4 years post-graduation experience in various branches of medicine, ALS certificate, NHS clinical attachment experience, multiple small courses, teaching experience etc. I have been applying for 10 months now, and I got only one single interview out of 300+ applications. I closely follow Person specification in every application and I have even attended a few courses on how to make my CV better. So, neither ALS nor CPD points are going to help you honestly. That is because unfortunately they have allowed simply too many IMG doctors to get their GMC registration without any plan to employ them afterwards, unless you have someone within some institution to help you out. That is the reality, so if you are even thinking of coming to the UK as a medical doctor, my advice is to think twice, because it is going to be a truly awful experience.

At the moment, I won't be surprised if there are no posts at all. The funding in NHS has significantly gone down. Things might improve in the coming years, but for now, the jobs market for doctors is not looking great.

Seriously people ... why the hell would you want to work in the UK NHS... I moved out of the UK and went to Germany. I already finished my residency and got paid around about 60k as a starting salary as a first year. And that was like back in 2016/17. Hospitals will hire anyone who basically speaks german and has a lincence.
