Hmm did you download the bepinex mod I linked or a different one? Also check the version of the mod, and when it was updated and check when the game was updated, could be a case of an outdated mod

@@McVerdict I figured it out thanks! When I saw it said TCG card Shop simulator bepinex pack or a pre configured bepin ex I assumed it meant I need both and I think that messed it up. I used the one you used in the video and it worked just fine that time

Did you run the game after installing ae update and letting it install the dlc?

What scale is your windows on?

@@McVerdict I changed my scaled to 100 and it worked, but my desktop was so tiny. I figured out going into game exe properties and turning dpi scaling off (or whatever its called at the bottom of window. I just unticked it) and now it works great.

@@McVerdict haha yeah, I spent hours modding Skyrim on my old PC but wanted to check out this Eldergleam and then edit stuff...but turns out I dont like the overall look of Eldergleam after testing it (this vid helped me install). It looks a bit too cartoony for me, so im gonna just look for mods I like and start again from scratch. Just means searching through all the mods again 🤣

@@stufflike5844 not possible at least to my knowledge, vanguard driver runs at ring 0 of the windows kernel. Only way would be to set up a mac vm as mac doesn't have vanguard on league. Even then I think the performance wouldn't be great. Moonlight is another option but my mouse inputs don't work on league using moonlight 😅

It's extremely comfortable, desktop environments are getting to that level of comfort

@@SerdceDanko let’s say you want to open a program that’s not pinned to ur bar. Well then you have to click to open a menu scroll through the menu and click the app to open it. While in window managers you can just press 2 buttons and boom it’s on the screen. Also desktop environments make you manually manage windows. Like if you have a window behind the Firefox window then you will have to either minimize Firefox or bring the window behind it into view. While in window managers you only have to (again) press 2 buttons (technically one). Window managers are incredibly efficient because you don’t even have to really think about the windows you open. The window managers does most of it for you. Imagine positioning your windows for 30 minutes when all you wanted to do was watch KZbin. Also they are faster and more lightweight so less memory usage.

Was wondering if you'd know how to run steam games using gamescope by default. On the wiki it says launching steam with the following command: gamescope -e -- steam Will run steam with gamescope but do you know If that will also run the games spawned from steam run with gamescope also?

@@syirrus haha I've done that, it fixes it for a bit but then starts fucking.up again. I think the encoder isn't connected properly or is just faulty. Just can't be arsed to replace it since it's not a cheap mouse 😅😅

@@chainthedev Yeah honestly I tried this same setup about a year ago maybe and it ran so bad on my rtx card but it's been such a seamless experience for me since I switched over this time. Really can't go back to Windows, if a game isn't going to support my OS I think I'm going to refuse to support the game 😅 (mainly anti cheat games that refuse to allow linux) glad to hear you got your friend into it too, the more people switching over the better! what do you use it for? i thought the same about Logitech G HUB which i use to add macros to my mouse for stuff like autoclicker and screenshot, but I found a replacement for it (even tho I can't have the autoclicker there)

there's something called AutoKey on github, which is I'm guessing an AHT alternative, but it's only for X11/Xorg, so if you'd want to use some WM like Hyprland or Sway or some other Wayland Compositor WM, then got to find something else. I've never used AHT on windows, so I don't even really know what it is for :P

@@epixerty i use it to correct spelling mistakes, like adding apostrophes, correcting common spelling mistakes, when I hold shift for too long, I also use it for shortcuts in typing so for example if I type "sh" in the win+r run box it resolves to shell:startup, etc. etc. it also provides mathematical symbols and symbols from other languages for example $pi resolves to π

To each their own, I can see why people like windows, it has many pros but like anything, including Linux it also has its cons. It really just depends on your preferences and what you can and can't live without for your computing needs

@@Jayrant this is how I started too, just playing with it on my laptop then dual booting, I'd recommend if you dual boot to make backups of your install and customise it to your liking then if you want try doing most of your basic computing on your linux partition and see how it feels, I ended up doing that and now don't even touch windows. Though I do lowkey miss playing League of Legends 😅

For windows there is windowsDebload script in got, for Linux start with easy destroyed like Ubuntu or similar Debian based or give a try to headache arch XD, but if you do dual boot in same drive windows rewrite boot order in bios and boot sector , so better use separate drive (internal or external)

I've been using this hyprdots setup for over 2 years now. It has come a long way from where it started. It is still being maintained to this day. It's a work of art but it's a pain to create.
