This calculation is for a room of approx 10 ft height. These lights are mostly a combination of wall and ceiling lights. You may have 6 lights in ceiling and one light in wall.

this calculation is for same wattage of light in a room, what if we want to use different wattage of light in a single room and consideration of indirect light as well...please clarify

This is based on the lux required per room. You may try with different watt fixtures. Indirect light will give you half illumination depending upon fixture type, ceiling paint etc.

Lux for Kitchen should be 300, but for bedroom you need different lux at different times like if u wanna relax u need only 150 lux and when u read you need 300 lux. So you need to distribute on 4 to 5 fixtures

Lux is dependent on use and not area. Like for office it is 300, for industry it is 600/700

Yes it has, this formula applies fir standard height 9ft to 10ft. For double heights the formula will be different
