I think in a direct no nonsense flight Yor could probably kill both Twilight and Nightfall simultaneously. She's incredibly lethal (as you will see next season) so if she encountered them as bodyguards in disguise they could only stop her by revealing themselves (since she doesn't wear a disguise). With preparation they could probably get past her with tricks, but while she's kinda dumb she is still crazily talented and has good instincts (she could tell Twilight was observing her in the dress shop) Twilight and Nightfall are kinda like James Bond, good fighters but not power houses, while Yor is kinda like Jason Bourne but with Captain America's strength. She can easily kill you barehanded without any weapons, after all every mission she fights entire squads of trained men with machine guns using two metal spikes.

so Frieren is supposed to be a 'young adult'. probably to sideways explain her lack of a bust. but a thousand years and 'young adult' does not work. humanity went from the EARLY middle ages to modern times in a thousand years. so if you gonna have humans around, you can't have thousand year old 'young adults'.

so Flamme discovered 'the place dead people go' a thousand years ago. claiming it would change things. about a hundred years ago, the demon king lived there. significant, I think.

methinks you do not quite 'get' the 'soul' of this story. Id be very disappointed if there were any 'resurrection' nonsense in the finale.

I love the story about Anya and Becky here. Anya was just thinking about the mission first, but Becky thought she was into Damian and convinced her to go shopping with her. At the stores, they quickly lost sight of the original plan and were just having fun together. Then Anya bought the little keychains as a symbol of their friendship. And in the end, they achieved exactly what they had in mind in the first place: It attracted Damian's attention :)

Demons, by Flamme's definition, are monsters that evolved into the niche of predatory mimicry towards human prey. They are also solitary by nature. Ecologically, they _shouldn't_ have material clothes, but they should look like they are wearing clothes. So their clothes being made from mana is actually evo-biologically accurate.

You guys seemed a bit nitpicky this episode, but I can’t tell how serious you guys were about it. For one, the leverage against the Graf was torture. Not really much else needed there, people shockingly don’t like being tortured. Especially from the demons point of view, where they don’t really have relationships, self-preservation is paramount for them and I have no doubt they would sell out a city if they could live. Then, not sure why you guys doubt Stark when he says the rope is magical. You’re right in that he is VERY strong. If it was a normal rope he’d be able to cut through it with a butter knife, no matter how he cut it. His axe is also not magical, or at least never stated to be. It’s implied what he did to the cliff face in episode 5/6 was entirely off his own strength, not cause he has some magic explosion axe. Also, picking up Graf with the chair and just running would be a horribly bad idea. Try running away from people trying to kill you while holding a chair, much less one with someone on it. I don’t know, maybe you guys were really just joking and not being serious about these complaints, but it seemed serious and so wasn’t really fun to watch. If it was all just in good fun, then disregard my comment

Graf Granat was unable to stand because he had a big hole in his gut from Lugner. I take it that neither one of you have had abdominal surgery because bending your waist after that is very painful. However I am curious as to where in the anime or manga it is stated that Stark’s axe has magic powers. As I understand it, his swings are so powerful that the air pressure is what was cutting the mountain past his physical reach.

This was also a big episode for Japan, because original the mangas name is "Sousou no Frieren" =Frieren the slayer. But the translation is not 100% correct, it could also mean: Frieren at the funeral. So all before expected the manga was called so, because Frieren lost all her friends/companions in the end. So it was a big suprise as her past was revealed. Cant wait until you see Episode 10 ^^

the 2 main questions/comments with this episode... 1. the goblins coat their arrows' heads/tips and (sword/axe/dagger/etc) blades with poisons/toxins/venoms and also with their own feces/urine too, so, even if Priestess had a 'cure poison' spell, Wizard would still have died from infection/bacteria that is growing on/from the urine/feces within her stab wound into her stomach A. Priestess' "healing" spell, healed up the physical wound itself B. however, she also needed a "cure poison" spell/potion, to remove the poison/toxin/venom, which she didn't have at this point in time C. and even then, there's still the infection/bacteria from the urine/feces, and as far as I know, there's NO spell/potion for that, lol it was a mercy killing, she was going to die, no matter what, and it'd be, painfully and slowly... GS saved her from some extremely horrendous suffering.... by mercifully killing her "immediately/instantly/quickly" (within a sec or two) 2. those goblin babies that GS (Goblin Slayer) killed, how many of them were there? and... then, how many abducted village girls were there? goblin babies have very fast gestation (pregnancy) time (~ 3 days, to at most, 1 week)... those abducted village girls were the (brood)mothers of those goblin babies, but they were quite lucky, as they each only had a single goblin baby to birth out, and they only had a single birthing too, as usually, each impregnation, fertilizes multiple eggs, with them having multiple babies with each birthing... and, since the noob party, and then GS, to the rescue, arrived so soon, they only had one birthing session... as well, "goblins multiply quickly"... unfortunately, Fighter, is likely going to be popping out some goblin babies in a few days, where-ever she ends up at... some monastery or where-ever, lol... with only a few females, and only within a few weeks, often have birthed out ~ 50 goblin babies... (there are only male goblins, so in order to not go extinct, they require other species/races of females, and those females likely never give consent, so the goblins have no choice, but to "R", else they fail to continue their species/race/genes/dna, going extinct)

i’ve seen this anime well over 100 times and i never stop finding small details and as my life moves forward i keep unlocking the meaning behind the words of all the characters. all time favorite hands down. hope you get to check out the movie version of the final fight it’s like twice as epic
